Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, a 31 de agosto de 2026.\u2014 En el marco de la V Sesi\u00f3n Solemne de Cabildo, el Ayuntamiento de Puerto Morelos entreg\u00f3 la Medalla al M\u00e9rito Juvenil 2026 a cinco j\u00f3venes que han destacado por su trayectoria, talento, disciplina y compromiso con la comunidad, adem\u00e1s de otorgar cinco menciones honor\u00edficas a j\u00f3venes que tambi\u00e9n han realizado aportaciones relevantes en distintos \u00e1mbitos.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La presidenta municipal, Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz, destac\u00f3 que este reconocimiento representa mucho m\u00e1s que una distinci\u00f3n, pues visibiliza el esfuerzo de j\u00f3venes que d\u00eda a d\u00eda construyen su trayectoria desde las aulas, los espacios deportivos, los escenarios culturales, las actividades sociales y las acciones de protecci\u00f3n al medio ambiente.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cLa Medalla al M\u00e9rito Juvenil 2026 no es solo una distinci\u00f3n, es un reconocimiento al trabajo que muchas veces comienza lejos de los reflectores: en las aulas, en los espacios deportivos, en los escenarios, en las actividades sociales, en la protecci\u00f3n de nuestro medio ambiente y, sobre todo, en la decisi\u00f3n de cada joven de ser mejor cada d\u00eda\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

La Alcaldesa felicit\u00f3 a quienes recibieron esta distinci\u00f3n y los exhort\u00f3 a continuar trabajando con disciplina y determinaci\u00f3n, al tiempo que hizo un llamado a todas las juventudes de Puerto Morelos a estudiar, prepararse, participar, proponer, equivocarse y volver a intentarlo, aprovechando las oportunidades que tienen para construir su futuro.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cPuerto Morelos necesita de ustedes, necesita de sus ideas, de su energ\u00eda, de su creatividad y de esa capacidad que tienen las nuevas generaciones para imaginar un municipio todav\u00eda mejor. Porque los j\u00f3venes no son solamente el futuro, son el presente de Puerto Morelos\u201d, enfatiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Los ganadores de la Medalla al M\u00e9rito Juvenil 2026 fueron: Wendy Guadalupe Valenzuela S\u00e1nchez, en la categor\u00eda de Logro Acad\u00e9mico; Diego Anduze, en Compromiso Social; Alison Jim\u00e9nez Cadena, en Expresi\u00f3n Cultural y Art\u00edstica; Axel Fernando Aquino M\u00e9ndez, en Fomento al Deporte; y F\u00e1tima Karime Mart\u00ednez Soto, en Protecci\u00f3n al Medio Ambiente.<\/p>\n

Las menciones honor\u00edficas fueron para Ver\u00f3nica A. Weil, Margarita Luna Reyes, Elizabeth A. Guill\u00e9n y Jos\u00e9 Santiago Mar\u00eda Andr\u00e9e, en la categor\u00eda de Fomento al Deporte; as\u00ed como Kendall Roxana P\u00e9rez Ram\u00edrez, en Expresi\u00f3n Cultural y Art\u00edstica.<\/p>\n

Blanca Merari resalt\u00f3 de manera especial la participaci\u00f3n y trayectoria de las j\u00f3venes reconocidas, al se\u00f1alar que son ejemplo de la capacidad, talento y determinaci\u00f3n de las nuevas generaciones de mujeres.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cEn Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo y M\u00e9xico es tiempo de las mujeres, y nos llena de orgullo ver a nuevas generaciones de mujeres prepar\u00e1ndose, destacando, participando y ocupando, con todo derecho, los espacios que les corresponden\u201d, subray\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

La Presidenta Municipal reconoci\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n el trabajo realizado por el Instituto Municipal de la Juventud de Puerto Morelos, encabezado por Ernesto Le\u00f3n Villanueva, con el respaldo de la regidora Alejandra Basilia Mena Parra, as\u00ed como el acompa\u00f1amiento y coordinaci\u00f3n de la directora del Instituto Quintanarroense de la Juventud, Alma Delfina Alvarado Moo.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, agradeci\u00f3 el respaldo de la gobernadora Mara Lezama Espinosa para fortalecer las pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas y acciones dirigidas a las juventudes de todo Quintana Roo.<\/p>\n

\n

La Alcaldesa destac\u00f3 que durante agosto el Gobierno de Puerto Morelos impuls\u00f3 diversas actividades dirigidas a las juventudes, con el objetivo de generar espacios de participaci\u00f3n, convivencia, desarrollo y expresi\u00f3n, y se\u00f1al\u00f3 que esta entrega representa el cierre de un mes dedicado a reconocer el talento y las capacidades de las nuevas generaciones.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

De igual manera, expres\u00f3 su reconocimiento a las madres y padres de familia, maestros, hermanos y abuelos que acompa\u00f1an a las y los j\u00f3venes en cada etapa de su desarrollo, fomentando en ellos valores, disciplina, constancia y la determinaci\u00f3n necesaria para alcanzar sus metas.<\/p>\n

Finalmente, Blanca Merari reiter\u00f3 que la Medalla al M\u00e9rito Juvenil 2026 debe representar apenas el comienzo de una trayectoria de mayores \u00e9xitos para quienes hoy fueron reconocidos, y convoc\u00f3 a todas las juventudes de Puerto Morelos a involucrarse activamente en la construcci\u00f3n del municipio que desean.<\/p>\n

\u201cSigan estudiando, sigan prepar\u00e1ndose y atr\u00e9vanse a participar. Puerto Morelos cuenta con ustedes. Sus ideas, su energ\u00eda y su creatividad son indispensables para seguir transformando nuestro municipio.
