{"id":36203,"date":"2026-07-22T18:39:20","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T00:39:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/puertomorelos.gob.mx\/comunicacionsocial\/?p=36203"},"modified":"2026-07-22T18:39:20","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T00:39:20","slug":"puerto-morelos-reafirma-su-liderazgo-ambiental-con-la-renovacion-del-distintivo-blue-flag-y-el-reconocimiento-eco-schools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/puertomorelos.gob.mx\/comunicacionsocial\/puerto-morelos-reafirma-su-liderazgo-ambiental-con-la-renovacion-del-distintivo-blue-flag-y-el-reconocimiento-eco-schools\/","title":{"rendered":"PUERTO MORELOS REAFIRMA SU LIDERAZGO AMBIENTAL CON LA RENOVACI\u00d3N DEL DISTINTIVO BLUE FLAG Y EL RECONOCIMIENTO ECO-SCHOOLS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>* La Escuela Secundaria T\u00e9cnica No. 7 &#8220;1.\u00ba de Junio&#8221; recibe el distintivo Eco-Schools Bronce por impulsar la educaci\u00f3n ambiental y el desarrollo sostenible entre las nuevas generaciones.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 22 de julio de 2026.\u2014 Puerto Morelos volvi\u00f3 a colocar en alto su compromiso con la conservaci\u00f3n del medio ambiente y el turismo sustentable con el izamiento de la Bandera Blue Flag en las playas Ventana al Mar y Playa Sol, que obtuvieron nuevamente la recertificaci\u00f3n internacional para la temporada 2026-2027, as\u00ed como con la entrega del distintivo Eco-Schools Bronce a la Escuela Secundaria T\u00e9cnica No. 7 &#8220;1.\u00ba de Junio&#8221;, reconocimiento a su labor en favor de la educaci\u00f3n ambiental.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En representaci\u00f3n de la presidenta municipal, Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz, el regidor Antonio Chuc Pech destac\u00f3 que estas certificaciones son resultado del trabajo permanente entre autoridades, iniciativa privada y ciudadan\u00eda para preservar el patrimonio natural del municipio.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Hoy celebramos el compromiso de una comunidad que entiende que el desarrollo y la conservaci\u00f3n del medio ambiente deben caminar de la mano. La renovaci\u00f3n del distintivo Blue Flag confirma que Puerto Morelos cumple con los m\u00e1s altos est\u00e1ndares internacionales en calidad del agua, seguridad, servicios, gesti\u00f3n ambiental y educaci\u00f3n para la sostenibilidad,&#8221; mencion\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A\u00f1adi\u00f3 que desde 2019 el municipio ha mantenido esta certificaci\u00f3n internacional gracias al esfuerzo conjunto de las dependencias municipales, el sector hotelero, prestadores de servicios tur\u00edsticos, organizaciones civiles y la ciudadan\u00eda.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Cuidar nuestras playas no es una tarea de temporada, es una pol\u00edtica permanente que fortalece nuestra vocaci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica y garantiza que las futuras generaciones disfruten de este invaluable patrimonio natural,\u201d subray\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante la ceremonia tambi\u00e9n se entreg\u00f3 el distintivo Eco-Schools Bronce a la Escuela Secundaria T\u00e9cnica No. 7 &#8220;1.\u00ba de Junio&#8221;, otorgado por la Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) por implementar acciones que promueven la educaci\u00f3n ambiental y el desarrollo sostenible, el Cabildo Infantil acompa\u00f1\u00f3 en el izamiento de la bandera Blue Flag.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al hacer uso de la voz, la Gerente de Gesti\u00f3n Sostenible FEE (Foundation For Environmental Education) Mexico, Rebeca S\u00e1nchez Mijangos,\u00a0 reconoci\u00f3 el esfuerzo del municipio por mantener los est\u00e1ndares internacionales que exige el programa.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Conservar el distintivo Blue Flag significa mantener un compromiso permanente con la excelencia ambiental. Puerto Morelos demuestra que la sostenibilidad se construye con trabajo coordinado, participaci\u00f3n ciudadana y una visi\u00f3n de largo plazo para proteger sus recursos naturales\u201d, detall\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por su parte, el secretario de Medio Ambiente, Bienestar Animal y Movilidad Sustentable, Gerardo Rosas Garc\u00eda, al dar la bienvenida se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la conservaci\u00f3n de las playas es una responsabilidad compartida que requiere la participaci\u00f3n activa de todos los sectores.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Cada bandera Blue Flag representa un compromiso diario con nuestro entorno. Continuaremos impulsando acciones de protecci\u00f3n ambiental, educaci\u00f3n y manejo responsable de nuestros recursos naturales para que Puerto Morelos siga siendo ejemplo de sostenibilidad en el Caribe Mexicano,&#8221; afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asimismo, en su exposici\u00f3n\u00a0 el director general de la Zona Federal Mar\u00edtimo Terrestre (Zofemat), Emmanuel Tuz Betancourt, destac\u00f3 que la renovaci\u00f3n del distintivo Blue Flag para las playas Ventana al Mar y Playa Sol confirma que ambas mantienen los m\u00e1s altos est\u00e1ndares internacionales de calidad y sostenibilidad.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Recibir este importante distintivo significa que nuestras playas cumplen con altos niveles de excelencia en informaci\u00f3n y promoci\u00f3n de la educaci\u00f3n ambiental, calidad del agua -mediante muestreos mensuales y perfiles trimestrales\u2014, gesti\u00f3n ambiental, as\u00ed como en seguridad y servicios.
