Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 15 de julio de 2026.\u2014 La presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz particip\u00f3 en la Sesi\u00f3n Extraordinaria del Consejo Estatal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, en la que se instal\u00f3 el Puesto de Comando para la Temporada de Lluvias y Ciclones Tropicales 2026, mecanismo de coordinaci\u00f3n entre los gobiernos de M\u00e9xico, Quintana Roo y los municipios para fortalecer las acciones preventivas y de atenci\u00f3n antes, durante y despu\u00e9s de un fen\u00f3meno hidrometeorol\u00f3gico.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Al reiterar el compromiso del gobierno municipal con la seguridad de las familias portomorelenses, Blanca Merari destac\u00f3 que Puerto Morelos se mantiene preparado para hacer frente a cualquier contingencia, con acciones preventivas permanentes y trabajo coordinado con los tres \u00f3rdenes de gobierno.<\/p>\n

“En Puerto Morelos estamos listos para afrontar esta temporada de lluvias y huracanes. Nos sumamos a este Puesto de Mando porque la prevenci\u00f3n y la coordinaci\u00f3n son fundamentales para proteger la vida y el patrimonio de las familias. Seguiremos atendiendo puntualmente las recomendaciones y reforzando las acciones preventivas en todo el municipio”, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

La alcaldesa inform\u00f3 que el Ayuntamiento intensifica la verificaci\u00f3n de los puntos considerados de riesgo dentro de la geograf\u00eda municipal, as\u00ed como las campa\u00f1as de limpieza de calles, avenidas, pozos de absorci\u00f3n y alcantarillas para evitar taponamientos que puedan provocar inundaciones.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, record\u00f3 que ya inici\u00f3 el mantenimiento de los 138 pozos de absorci\u00f3n ubicados en la cabecera municipal y que estos trabajos se extender\u00e1n a la delegaci\u00f3n de Leona Vicario, con el prop\u00f3sito de mantener al cien por ciento la capacidad de infiltraci\u00f3n de las aguas pluviales.<\/p>\n

Durante la sesi\u00f3n, la coordinadora nacional de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, Laura Vel\u00e1zquez Alz\u00faa, instal\u00f3 formalmente el Puesto de Comando y se\u00f1al\u00f3 que Quintana Roo se encuentra entre las entidades con mayor exposici\u00f3n a fen\u00f3menos hidrometeorol\u00f3gicos, situaci\u00f3n que se incrementa por los efectos del fen\u00f3meno de El Ni\u00f1o, por lo que hizo un llamado a fortalecer la prevenci\u00f3n y la coordinaci\u00f3n institucional.<\/p>\n

Indic\u00f3 que, de acuerdo con el Atlas Nacional de Riesgos, varios municipios de Quintana Roo presentan puntos cr\u00edticos de inundaci\u00f3n, entre ellos Puerto Morelos, debido a su ubicaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica, por lo que consider\u00f3 indispensable mantener recorridos permanentes e informar oportunamente a la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, la gobernadora Mara Lezama Espinosa ratific\u00f3 la instalaci\u00f3n del Puesto de Mando en Quintana Roo y destac\u00f3 la preparaci\u00f3n del estado para enfrentar la temporada de ciclones tropicales, gracias al trabajo conjunto con los 11 municipios, las Fuerzas Armadas y el respaldo del Gobierno de M\u00e9xico que encabeza la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.<\/p>\n

“Es una herramienta fundamental, un mecanismo de coordinaci\u00f3n que garantiza respuestas \u00e1giles, oportunas y humanistas ante cualquier eventualidad”, afirm\u00f3 la mandataria estatal.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

A su vez, el coordinador estatal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, Guillermo N\u00fa\u00f1ez Leal, inform\u00f3 que Quintana Roo cuenta con m\u00e1s de 800 refugios anticicl\u00f3nicos, 77 de primera apertura, 16 espacios para mascotas y una fuerza operativa integrada por m\u00e1s de 3 mil 550 brigadistas para atender cualquier emergencia.<\/p>\n

Finalmente, Blanca Merari subray\u00f3 que Puerto Morelos dispone de 20 refugios temporales habilitados, distribuidos estrat\u00e9gicamente en todo el municipio: 11 en la cabecera municipal, uno en Central Vallarta y ocho en Leona Vicario. Adem\u00e1s, contar\u00e1 con dos refugios de primera apertura en la cabecera municipal y dos m\u00e1s en Leona Vicario, as\u00ed como espacios destinados al resguardo de mascotas, garantizando una atenci\u00f3n integral a la poblaci\u00f3n durante la presente temporada de ciclones tropicales.<\/strong><\/p>\n
