Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 12 de julio de 2026.\u2014 Con la participaci\u00f3n de 28 embarcaciones y una bolsa de premiaci\u00f3n cercana a los 600 mil pesos, concluy\u00f3 con gran \u00e9xito la novena edici\u00f3n del Torneo Internacional Femenil de Pesca Deportiva “La Diosa del Mar”, consolid\u00e1ndose como uno de los eventos deportivos y tur\u00edsticos m\u00e1s importantes de Puerto Morelos.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz dio el tradicional pitazo de salida y dese\u00f3 buena pesca a todas las participantes, destacando el entusiasmo de las competidoras, quienes respondieron al llamado.<\/p>\n

“Estamos muy contentos de estar aqu\u00ed dando este esperado pitazo de salida de esta novena edici\u00f3n de La Diosa del Mar. Agradecemos enormemente a las casi 30 embarcaciones que se registraron de mujeres que han demostrado ser muy valientes, siendo el \u00fanico torneo femenil a nivel nacional y que nos coloca en el mapa tur\u00edstico deportivo”, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

La Alcaldesa, resalt\u00f3 que el torneo tambi\u00e9n incluy\u00f3 actividades gastron\u00f3micas y artesanales para disfrute de familias y visitantes, fortaleciendo la oferta tur\u00edstica del municipio. Asimismo, agradeci\u00f3 el respaldo de patrocinadores que hacen posible el crecimiento de este torneo.<\/p>\n

Las embarcaciones participantes fueron: Tsunami, Wahoo, Buena D\u00eda, Big Boss, El Patr\u00f3n, Juanita, Galileo, Raptor, D’Quino, Black Moon, Tibur\u00f3n, Gannet, Lady Rose, Nicolas 2, Pescadora II, Emily, Real Catcher, Toda Tuya, Happy Fisherman, Marilyn, My Time Out, Don Pepe Spirit Fishing, Pelana, Diosa del Mar, Tamara, y T\u00eda Dori, provenientes de Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Puerto Aventuras, Canc\u00fan, Puerto Morelos y Holbox.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, la organizadora Karla Luna agradeci\u00f3 el respaldo del Ayuntamiento de Puerto Morelos y del Gobierno del Estado para hacer realidad una edici\u00f3n m\u00e1s del torneo.<\/p>\n

“Estamos muy agradecidas con nuestra presidenta municipal Blanca Merari, quien desde el primer d\u00eda se sum\u00f3 a este proyecto y ha sido una gran anfitriona. Tambi\u00e9n agradecemos a la gobernadora Mara Lezama por su apoyo permanente. Estos nueve a\u00f1os representan mucho trabajo y mucho esfuerzo, fomentando el deporte y la conservaci\u00f3n de las especies”, manifest\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

La competencia fue supervisada por el juez Gamaliel Ek, quien verific\u00f3 el desarrollo del torneo y el proceso de pesaje de las capturas.<\/p>\n

Record\u00f3 que las especies que obtuvieron puntos son wahoo, sierra, dorado, at\u00fan, bonito o barrilete y barracuda, con un peso m\u00ednimo de 10 libras por ejemplar. Como torneo de pesca responsable mediante la modalidad de captura y liberaci\u00f3n de especies picudas se otorgaron puntos a la pesca de marl\u00edn azul con 6 mil puntos; marl\u00edn blanco, 3 mil; y pez vela, mil puntos. Adem\u00e1s, las participantes recibieron puntos adicionales por liberar dorados j\u00f3venes, incentivando as\u00ed la conservaci\u00f3n de las especies marinas.<\/p>\n

Al concluir la jornada, en representaci\u00f3n de la presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz, la secretaria de Turismo Sustentable, Karina V\u00e1zquez D\u00edaz, encabez\u00f3 la ceremonia de premiaci\u00f3n y entreg\u00f3 los reconocimientos y premios a las competidoras que obtuvieron el mejor puntaje por especie y tama\u00f1o, reconociendo el talento, esfuerzo y compromiso de las participantes.<\/p>\n

El equipo ganador de los 100 mil pesos y los cuatro pases para vivir la experiencia de pesca deportiva en Tropic Star Lodge, en Panam\u00e1, fueron \u201cSirenas del Caribe\u201d con 6,600 puntos y quienes fueron las \u00fanicas en liberar un ejemplar de Marlin azul; el segundo lugar, \u201cPerlas del Caribe\/Black Moon\u201d, con 2,988.40 puntos, se llev\u00f3 el premio de 50 mil pesos; el tercero, de 30 mil pesos fue para \u201cLas Fragatas\/Marlin\u201d quienes fueron las que m\u00e1s liberaron dorados juveniles con 8 ejemplares; el cuarto, 15 mil para \u201cD\u2019Quino con 1,764.0; y el quinto lugar de 5 mil pesos para \u201cMisteriosas Kaim\u201d con 1,600 puntos, adem\u00e1s recibieron sus respectivos trofeos.<\/p>\n

Al concluir el evento la titular de Turismo Sustentable a nombre de la presidenta Blanca Merari, subray\u00f3 que Puerto Morelos avanza en su vocaci\u00f3n de turismo deportivo, fortaleciendo la econom\u00eda local y promoviendo espacios que visibilicen y reconozcan la participaci\u00f3n de las mujeres en la pesca deportiva.<\/strong><\/p>\n
