Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 26 de mayo de 2026.\u2013 Por instrucciones de la presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz, la Coordinaci\u00f3n Municipal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil de Puerto Morelos llev\u00f3 a cabo un recorrido de verificaci\u00f3n en refugios temporales, como parte de los trabajos preparativos previos al inicio de la temporada de lluvias y huracanes del oc\u00e9ano Atl\u00e1ntico.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La presidenta municipal, Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz, destac\u00f3 que la prevenci\u00f3n y la preparaci\u00f3n son fundamentales para proteger a las familias portomorelenses durante la temporada cicl\u00f3nica.<\/p>\n

\u201cEn Puerto Morelos trabajamos con responsabilidad y anticipaci\u00f3n para cuidar la integridad de nuestra gente. La coordinaci\u00f3n entre dependencias y organismos especializados nos permite contar con refugios seguros y listos para atender a la poblaci\u00f3n ante cualquier contingencia\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Las supervisiones estuvieron encabezadas por el director de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, Antonio Dom\u00ednguez Ol\u00e1n, en coordinaci\u00f3n con los ingenieros Jos\u00e9 Luis Zenteno y Ana Rosas, del Instituto de Ingenieros Civiles de Puerto Morelos, con el objetivo de garantizar que los inmuebles se encuentren en \u00f3ptimas condiciones para brindar resguardo seguro a la poblaci\u00f3n en caso de contingencia.<\/p>\n

Dom\u00ednguez Ol\u00e1n inform\u00f3 que todos los inmuebles inspeccionados fueron considerados aptos para operar como refugios temporales y resalt\u00f3 que se cuenta con espacios especiales para primera apertura y atenci\u00f3n de mascotas.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstamos verificando cada detalle para garantizar condiciones adecuadas y seguras en todos los refugios. Nuestro compromiso es brindar tranquilidad a la ciudadan\u00eda y estar preparados para actuar de manera inmediata ante cualquier eventualidad\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Durante el recorrido se verificaron 11 refugios temporales, de los cuales siete corresponden a planteles educativos, tres a centros religiosos y uno particular. Previamente se hizo el recorrido en Leona Vicario y Central Vallarta en los inmuebles designados.<\/p>\n

En total, el municipio contar\u00e1 con 20 refugios habilitados: 11 en la cabecera municipal, uno en Central Vallarta y ocho en Leona Vicario, adem\u00e1s de dos refugios de primera apertura en la cabecera municipal y dos m\u00e1s en Leona Vicario.<\/p>\n

Entre los aspectos evaluados se encuentran la estructura general de los inmuebles, protecci\u00f3n de ventanas, funcionamiento de servicios b\u00e1sicos, accesibilidad de sanitarios, cantidad de \u00e1reas disponibles, c\u00e1lculo de aforo y medidas de seguridad.<\/p>\n

Como parte de estas acciones preventivas, se colocaron placas distintivas en los inmuebles verificados, con la finalidad de que la ciudadan\u00eda identifique f\u00e1cilmente los sitios a los que podr\u00e1 acudir en caso de emergencia.<\/p>\n

Entre los refugios supervisados se encuentran la Escuela Secundaria T\u00e9cnica No. 10 \u201cFrancisco Zarco\u201d, el CECyTE Leona Vicario, el Sindicato de Taxistas \u201cLuis Donaldo Colosio\u201d, el Templo Getseman\u00ed, la Universidad YPM, el Templo Alfa y Omega, el Colegio de Bachilleres Puerto Morelos, la Iglesia Fuente de Vida Eterna, la Escuela Primaria \u201cDavid Alfaro Siqueiros\u201d y el Sindicato de Taxistas \u201cC\u00e9sar Mart\u00edn Rosado\u201d, entre otros.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finalmente, el titular de Protecci\u00f3n Civil subray\u00f3 que siguen fortaleciendo las acciones de prevenci\u00f3n y coordinaci\u00f3n interinstitucional para salvaguardar la integridad de las familias portomorelenses durante la presente temporada de lluvias y huracanes.<\/strong><\/p>\n
