Roo, 19 de mayo de 2026.- Puerto Morelos est\u00e1 listo para celebrar una nueva edici\u00f3n del tradicional Torneo Internacional de Pesca Deportiva 2026, con actividades que se realizar\u00e1n del 29 de mayo al 1 de junio como parte de la conmemoraci\u00f3n por el D\u00eda de la Marina y en el marco del d\u00e9cimo aniversario del municipio.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para esta ocasi\u00f3n se espera la participaci\u00f3n de alrededor de 60 embarcaciones provenientes de distintos municipios de Quintana Roo, otros estados del pa\u00eds e incluso del extranjero, adem\u00e1s de la llegada de aproximadamente 600 visitantes, lo que permitir\u00e1 un incremento estimado de entre el 7 y el 10 por ciento en la ocupaci\u00f3n hotelera del destino.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante la presentaci\u00f3n oficial del torneo ante los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, la secretaria de Turismo Sustentable de Puerto Morelos, Karina V\u00e1zquez D\u00edaz, destac\u00f3 que este evento ha evolucionado de una actividad tradicional de la comunidad pesquera a una de las celebraciones n\u00e1uticas m\u00e1s importantes del municipio, manteniendo siempre el ambiente familiar y de convivencia que caracteriza a Puerto Morelos.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A\u00f1adi\u00f3 que la presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz ha dado seguimiento puntual a la organizaci\u00f3n de las actividades programadas para esta edici\u00f3n, con el objetivo de fortalecer la promoci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica del destino, preservar las tradiciones mar\u00edtimas y garantizar eventos seguros y familiares para habitantes y visitantes.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cHoy no solamente hablamos de una competencia en altamar, sino de una gran celebraci\u00f3n que re\u00fane tradici\u00f3n, deporte, convivencia y pasi\u00f3n por el mar, donde participan familias, pescadores deportivos y visitantes de distintos puntos del estado, del pa\u00eds e incluso del extranjero\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por su parte, el secretario general del Ayuntamiento, Jos\u00e9 de Jes\u00fas Espinosa Pay\u00e1n, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que las celebraciones de este a\u00f1o tendr\u00e1n un significado especial al realizarse dentro de las actividades conmemorativas por el d\u00e9cimo aniversario del municipio. Indic\u00f3 que se prepar\u00f3 un programa integral con actividades culturales, deportivas y gastron\u00f3micas para que familias y visitantes disfruten de Puerto Morelos durante todo el fin de semana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las actividades iniciar\u00e1n el viernes 29 de mayo con una kerm\u00e9s gastron\u00f3mica en el parque principal del Casco Antiguo, donde participar\u00e1n restaurantes locales, adem\u00e1s de eventos culturales como el Segundo Congreso Nacional de Coros Infantiles Coral-C\u00fan y presentaciones del Circo Imagine Puerto Morelos. Paralelamente se realizar\u00e1 la tradicional Cena de Capitanes en Marina El Cid, espacio que permitir\u00e1 fortalecer la convivencia entre participantes, organizadores y comunidad local antes de la competencia de alta mar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El s\u00e1bado 30 de mayo las actividades comenzar\u00e1n desde las 6 de la ma\u00f1ana con el registro de participantes en el muelle de pescadores y el disparo de salida programado para las 8 de la ma\u00f1ana, encabezado por la presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz y autoridades estatales y federales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante el resto del d\u00eda se llevar\u00e1n a cabo actividades deportivas y el tradicional palo encebado dentro del agua. El domingo los festejos continuar\u00e1n con una competencia ciclista pedestre y una carrera familiar; mientras que el lunes la alcaldesa encabezar\u00e1 un acto c\u00edvico por el D\u00eda de la Marina y posteriormente se depositar\u00e1 en el mar un arreglo floral en honor a los marinos ca\u00eddos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asimismo, se inform\u00f3 que este a\u00f1o se increment\u00f3 la bolsa de premios del torneo, otorgando 150 mil pesos al primer lugar, 100 mil pesos al segundo y 50 mil pesos al tercero. Los trofeos de esta edici\u00f3n tendr\u00e1n un dise\u00f1o representativo del municipio, incorporando el faro inclinado de Puerto Morelos, el logotipo del d\u00e9cimo aniversario y figuras de especies emblem\u00e1ticas como marl\u00edn y pez vela.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El torneo incluir\u00e1 las modalidades Catch and Release y b\u00e1scula tradicional, promoviendo la pesca deportiva sustentable y la conservaci\u00f3n marina. Adem\u00e1s, de manera paralela se desarrollar\u00e1 el festival gastron\u00f3mico \u201cSabor a Mar\u201d, donde restaurantes locales ofrecer\u00e1n platillos emblem\u00e1ticos y productos frescos del mar, adem\u00e1s de la participaci\u00f3n de artesanas y artesanos locales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>En el pres\u00eddium estuvieron presentes el secretario general del Ayuntamiento, Jos\u00e9 de Jes\u00fas Espinoza Pay\u00e1n; la secretaria de Turismo Sustentable, Karina V\u00e1zquez D\u00edaz; la secretaria de Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico y Mejora Regulatoria, Elena Guti\u00e9rrez Brise\u00f1o; el chef del restaurante El Huerto del Puerto, Santiago Hern\u00e1ndez Mendoza; el director general del Instituto Municipal del Deporte, Ren\u00e1n Cruz; el gerente de Marina El Cid, Aldair Hern\u00e1ndez Rivera y el presidente de Pescando en el Caribe y juez oficial del torneo de pesca, Gamaliel Ek.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>-0-0-0-0-0-<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Puerto Morelos, Q.
