presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz afirm\u00f3 que el gobierno de Puerto Morelos avanza con paso firme en la consolidaci\u00f3n de herramientas e instrumentos normativos con base cient\u00edfica para garantizar un crecimiento ordenado y sustentable, poniendo siempre al centro el cuidado del entorno natural, principal fuente de riqueza econ\u00f3mica del destino.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAplaudo los avances que el Comit\u00e9 de Ordenamiento Ecol\u00f3gico Local est\u00e1 logrando, con una amplia participaci\u00f3n de los tres \u00f3rdenes de gobierno, organismos especializados en medio ambiente, colegios de ingenieros y arquitectos, as\u00ed como de la academia y la ciudadan\u00eda en general, para hacer de Puerto Morelos un municipio verdaderamente sustentable y sostenible\u201d, expres\u00f3 la primera autoridad en el municipio.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante la S\u00e9ptima Sesi\u00f3n Ordinaria del Comit\u00e9 del Programa de Ordenamiento Ecol\u00f3gico Local, realizada en la Sala de Cabildo y encabezada por el secretario de Desarrollo Urbano y Ordenamiento Territorial y secretario t\u00e9cnico del Comit\u00e9, Rolando Melo Novelo, se present\u00f3 y valid\u00f3 la etapa de Pron\u00f3stico del Programa de Ordenamiento Ecol\u00f3gico Local de Puerto Morelos, con base en los estudios e investigaciones realizados por la empresa consultora Gesti\u00f3n, Pol\u00edtica y Planificaci\u00f3n Ambiental (GPPA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El consultor Ricardo G\u00f3mez Lozano, director general de GPPA, expuso los avances y ajustes realizados a esta etapa de Pron\u00f3stico, en la que se integraron las aportaciones y el trabajo en conjunto de los miembros del Comit\u00e9, con el objetivo de transitar a la fase de construcci\u00f3n del Modelo de Ordenamiento del Programa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Detall\u00f3 que dicho Modelo se fundamenta en cinco ejes estrat\u00e9gicos:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico Sustentable, para armonizar las actividades productivas con la protecci\u00f3n ambiental y promover el uso racional de los recursos naturales; Conservaci\u00f3n y aprovechamiento sustentable de la biodiversidad y de los recursos naturales, garantizando la protecci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas; Gobernanza participativa, que impulsa la involucraci\u00f3n comunitaria en la construcci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas innovadoras, incluyentes y de largo plazo; Asentamientos humanos sostenibles y resilientes; y Gesti\u00f3n integral del recurso h\u00eddrico y conservaci\u00f3n del sistema k\u00e1rstico, orientada al manejo eficiente del acu\u00edfero y a asegurar la disponibilidad y calidad del agua.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por su parte, Rolando Melo agradeci\u00f3 la participaci\u00f3n de funcionarias y funcionarios, as\u00ed como de las y los representantes de las diversas instituciones y organizaciones que integran el Comit\u00e9, entre ellas Semarnat del Gobierno de M\u00e9xico, SEMA de Quintana Roo, Conagua, Sedatu, CAPA, Agepro, CFE, Implan Puerto Morelos, los ejidos de Leona Vicario y Puerto Morelos, los colegios de Bi\u00f3logos, Ingenieros y Arquitectos, la organizaci\u00f3n Centinelas del Agua, entre otros organismos de la sociedad civil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Subray\u00f3 que este trabajo coordinado permitir\u00e1 contar con un Programa de Ordenamiento Ecol\u00f3gico Local robusto, que brinde certeza jur\u00eddica y ambiental a las actividades econ\u00f3micas y productivas, y que a la vez garantice la conservaci\u00f3n del patrimonio natural de Puerto Morelos.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
