Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 8 de octubre de 2025.\u2013 \u201cLa prevenci\u00f3n siempre ser\u00e1 la mejor medicina para mantener la salud, y la autoexploraci\u00f3n, la mejor forma de lograr una detecci\u00f3n temprana que puede salvar vidas\u201d, afirm\u00f3 la presidenta Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz al encabezar el Encendido Rosa del Palacio Municipal, dentro de la campa\u00f1a \u201cQue no SENOS olvide\u201d, con motivo del Mes Rosa de lucha contra el c\u00e1ncer de mama.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La Alcaldesa destac\u00f3 que, a trav\u00e9s del Sistema DIF, se ha programado una serie de actividades orientadas a promover el autocuidado y reforzar la prevenci\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer de mama, una enfermedad que, lamentablemente, sigue siendo una de las principales causas de mortalidad entre mujeres mexicanas.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cEn Quintana Roo, seg\u00fan datos del INEGI 2023, la tasa de mortalidad por c\u00e1ncer de mama se mantiene por debajo de la media nacional, con alrededor de 13 mil muertes al a\u00f1o en mujeres mayores de 20 a\u00f1os\u201d, precis\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Blanca Merari agradeci\u00f3 a la empresa Red Ambiental y a los organismos que se suman a esta noble causa, promoviendo h\u00e1bitos saludables y la detecci\u00f3n oportuna mediante la autoexploraci\u00f3n, la exploraci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica y la mastograf\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Durante el evento, la Presidenta Municipal hizo entrega de 12 pr\u00f3tesis mamarias completas con su sost\u00e9n de soporte a 11 mujeres portomorelenses, acci\u00f3n que representa \u201cuna esperanza y una mejora significativa en su calidad de vida, as\u00ed como un paso importante en su reconstrucci\u00f3n f\u00edsica y emocional para reintegrarse plenamente a su vida cotidiana\u201d.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, entreg\u00f3 cuatro vales para mastograf\u00edas y dos para ultrasonidos, con apoyo del Instituto Municipal de la Mujer.<\/p>\n

Las beneficiarias fueron: Leticia Figueroa Ornelas, Wendy Torres, Nancy Aracely Cetina Iturralde, Heidy Guadalupe Caamal Pech, Ulbia Aguilar Figueroa, Lucero Mart\u00ednez, Clara Morebo y Mendoza, y Ana Claudia Ant\u00fanez (pr\u00f3tesis mamarias); Mar\u00eda Lourdes del Socorro Huchin Tec y Gladys Esther Huchin (mastograf\u00edas); y Mirza Anah\u00ed Cauich Flores, Brenda Moreno y Cecilia Moreno (ultrasonidos de mama).<\/p>\n

\n

Por su parte, el Ing. Juan Carlos Cort\u00e9s Guti\u00e9rrez, gerente de Operaciones de Red Ambiental en Puerto Morelos, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el compromiso de la empresa \u201cva m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de ser los de la basura\u201d. Record\u00f3 que el 48.6 por ciento de la poblaci\u00f3n son mujeres, quienes representan \u201cla fuerza y el coraz\u00f3n del municipio\u201d, por lo que reiter\u00f3 su compromiso de continuar apoyando acciones de salud y detecci\u00f3n oportuna.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Durante el evento tambi\u00e9n se entregaron dos acr\u00edlicos con la figura de carritos rosa, alusivos a la Campa\u00f1a Rosa Red Ambiental 2025: \u201cDetectar para vivir, autoexpl\u00f3rate\u201d, por parte del Ing. Alfonso Villarreal, director de Domiciliaria de Red Ambiental, a la presidenta Blanca Merari y al director de Residuos S\u00f3lidos Miguel Arm\u00edn Guti\u00e9rrez Novelo en representaci\u00f3n del titular de la Secretar\u00eda de Servicios P\u00fablicos, Leonel Salazar Trejo.<\/p>\n

En su mensaje de bienvenida, la directora del DIF, Vanessa L\u00f3pez P\u00e1ez, agradeci\u00f3 el respaldo de las autoridades e invit\u00f3 a la ciudadan\u00eda a participar en las actividades del Mes Rosa, entre ellas talleres de autoexploraci\u00f3n, jornadas de donaci\u00f3n de cabello y la Carrera Familiar contra el C\u00e1ncer de Mama.<\/p>\n

En el evento estuvieron presentes la presidenta honoraria del DIF, Juana Mar\u00eda Chac\u00f3n Canch\u00e9; los regidores Rosario Concha Nal y Antonio Chuc Pech, as\u00ed como funcionarios municipales y p\u00fablico en general.<\/strong><\/p>\n
