Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo a 26 de agosto de 2024.- La presidenta municipal de Puerto Morelos Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz, entreg\u00f3 dos unidades m\u00e1s al Grupo Especializado de Atenci\u00f3n a la Violencia Intrafamiliar y de G\u00e9nero (GEAVIG), en las instalaciones de la Secretar\u00eda Municipal de Seguridad Ciudadana, avanzando con uno de los 55 proyectos prioritarios de su administraci\u00f3n en el marco del programa \u201cPalabra Cumplida\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La primera autoridad en el municipio extern\u00f3 que el Plan Municipal de Desarrollo 2024-2027, establece dentro del Eje 1 denominado Primero Tu Seguridad, la Estrategia 1.1 de Proximidad y atenci\u00f3n ciudadana, que lleva como l\u00ednea de acci\u00f3n el fortalecimiento del GEAVIG con el equipamiento necesario para dar atenci\u00f3n puntual a las mujeres que lo requieran.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cHoy duplicamos nuestro parque vehicular del GEAVIG, ahora con 4 veh\u00edculos para una actuaci\u00f3n oportuna y resiliente hacia las ni\u00f1as, mujeres y adolescentes que sufren de agresiones f\u00edsicas, psicol\u00f3gicas, econ\u00f3micas o sexuales. En Quintana Roo, con el impulso decidido de nuestra Gobernadora Mara Lezama, el estado y los 11 municipios hemos venido consolidando la estrategia de protecci\u00f3n y apoyo a las mujeres y Puerto Morelos no es la excepci\u00f3n\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Blanca Merari, revel\u00f3 que, de acuerdo con datos del Secretariado Ejecutivo del Sistema Nacional de Seguridad P\u00fablica, ha habido una importante reducci\u00f3n en violencia intrafamiliar en el periodo de enero a julio de 2025, con respecto al mismo periodo del a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cNo podemos cantar victoria mientras haya una sola mujer violentada. Por eso, debemos redoblar esfuerzos, no podemos ni debemos bajar la guardia, es tiempo de mujeres y estamos desde el Gobierno de M\u00e9xico con la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum, en el Estado con la gobernadora Mara Lezama, su servidora en nuestro municipio, y con la directora de GEAVIG, trabajando juntas y unidas sin descanso, hasta que las cifras de violencia de g\u00e9nero sean igual a cero\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Al dar la bienvenida el Tte. Nav. Imp. Manuel Alejandro Nava Garc\u00eda, Secretario Municipal de Seguridad Ciudadana de Puerto Morelos expres\u00f3 su agradecimiento a la presidenta Blanca Merari ya que las dos patrullas adicionales son una inversi\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica que fortalecer\u00e1 GEAVIG.<\/p>\n

\u201cEsto no es solo la suma de dos veh\u00edculos; es la suma de m\u00e1s presencia, de una respuesta m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida y de una mayor capacidad para proteger a quienes m\u00e1s lo necesitan. Es un reflejo tangible del compromiso de nuestra Presidenta Municipal con la ciudadan\u00eda, un compromiso que se traduce en hechos que salvan y protegen vidas\u201d, manifest\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Por su parte, la directora del GEAVIG Daniela Yukari P\u00e9rez L\u00f3pez, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la violencia de g\u00e9nero no es un problema aislado; es una grave violaci\u00f3n de los derechos humanos que socava el bienestar y la seguridad de ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os. \u201cEs un desaf\u00edo profundo que, como sociedad, estamos obligados a enfrentar con determinaci\u00f3n\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n

La presidenta Blanca Merari entreg\u00f3 las llaves de los veh\u00edculos un Attitude y camioneta Groove marca Dodge, a los elementos de la corporaci\u00f3n Alexia de los \u00c1ngeles Rodr\u00edguez y Luis May \u00c1vila para dar paso a la firma de \u201cPalabra Cumplida\u201d, refrendando las acciones en favor de la seguridad de los portomorelenses.<\/p>\n

En el acto estuvieron presentes, el Tesorero Jos\u00e9 Luis Ciau Xiu, el regidor Gonzalo Calder\u00f3n Poot, el secretario general del Ayuntamiento Jos\u00e9 de Jes\u00fas Espinosa Payan, entre otros funcionarios.<\/strong><\/p>\n
