Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 10 de julio de 2025.\u2014 La presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz concluy\u00f3 hoy, en esta cabecera municipal, la entrega de becas escolares del programa \u201cAvanzando Juntos\u201d, cuya primera etapa tuvo lugar el pasado mi\u00e9rcoles en la delegaci\u00f3n Leona Vicario, y confirm\u00f3 que solicitar\u00e1 el apoyo del Cabildo para que el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o el n\u00famero de beneficiarios suba de 150 a 175.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En total, se distribuyeron 150 apoyos econ\u00f3micos a estudiantes de nivel primaria y secundaria, de los cuales 60 fueron entregados en Leona Vicario y 90 en la cabecera municipal. La alcaldesa agradeci\u00f3 el respaldo del Cabildo en el impulso a la educaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\u201cCon estas acciones, reiteramos nuestro compromiso con la educaci\u00f3n. Seguiremos trabajando juntas y juntos para que Puerto Morelos le apueste al bienestar y desarrollo de nuestra ni\u00f1ez y juventud\u201d, expres\u00f3 Blanca Merari.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

La presidenta destac\u00f3 que las becas, financiadas con recursos propios, representan un reconocimiento al esfuerzo acad\u00e9mico de ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os portomorelenses. Del total de apoyos entregados, 131 fueron para estudiantes de primaria y 19 para secundaria.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, subray\u00f3 que programas como este permiten que el dinero recaudado a trav\u00e9s de impuestos regrese al pueblo en forma de oportunidades para quienes m\u00e1s lo necesitan.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Sara Eugenia S\u00e1nchez Canul, directora del Instituto Municipal de Educaci\u00f3n, afirm\u00f3 que el pago de las becas simboliza el compromiso del gobierno municipal con el futuro de la comunidad. \u201cAvanzando Juntos es una iniciativa fundamental que reconoce el m\u00e9rito acad\u00e9mico, fomenta la educaci\u00f3n, combate la deserci\u00f3n escolar y promueve la igualdad de oportunidades\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n
