Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 6 de junio de 2025.\u2013 La presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz dio inicio al programa \u201cPuerto Morelos Brilla\u201d, que contempla la instalaci\u00f3n de 1,200 luminarias con tecnolog\u00eda LED en distintas zonas del municipio antes de que finalice el a\u00f1o.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

\u201cEste programa representa un paso firme hacia la modernizaci\u00f3n de nuestro sistema de alumbrado p\u00fablico. Estamos respondiendo a una necesidad urgente con soluciones concretas que se traducen en mayor seguridad, eficiencia y ahorro para el municipio\u201d, afirm\u00f3 la alcaldesa durante el arranque.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Blanca Merari explic\u00f3 que el proyecto nace del compromiso por mejorar la calidad de vida de las y los portomorelenses, especialmente en aquellas zonas donde la iluminaci\u00f3n ha sido insuficiente durante a\u00f1os. Record\u00f3 que su administraci\u00f3n ha tenido que enfrentar retos heredados, entre ellos un rezago importante en infraestructura b\u00e1sica como el alumbrado p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cSabemos que calles bien iluminadas son calles m\u00e1s seguras. Con estas nuevas luminarias no solo mejoramos la visibilidad y la movilidad durante la noche, tambi\u00e9n fortalecemos la tranquilidad de nuestras comunidades\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Adem\u00e1s de brindar mejor iluminaci\u00f3n, la tecnolog\u00eda LED permitir\u00e1 reducir hasta en un 60% el consumo de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica, lo que representa un ahorro importante en el gasto municipal. Este tipo de luminarias tiene una vida \u00fatil estimada de hasta 200 mil horas, lo que garantiza un servicio m\u00e1s duradero y eficiente.<\/p>\n

El programa contempla zonas como Villas Morelos II, Tierra Nueva, La Fe, el puente de la carretera federal, as\u00ed como las delegaciones de Leona Vicario, Central Vallarta y Delirios, donde a\u00fan se utilizan l\u00e1mparas antiguas tipo OV-15.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, el secretario de Servicios P\u00fablicos, Leonel Salazar Trejo, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el crecimiento del municipio \u2014tanto poblacional como tur\u00edstico\u2014 exige soluciones a la altura de las nuevas necesidades. \u201cEstamos trabajando con planeaci\u00f3n y visi\u00f3n a futuro para que Puerto Morelos tenga la infraestructura que merece\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Durante el evento, Roc\u00edo Torres Ceja, vecina de Villas Morelos II, agradeci\u00f3 a la presidenta municipal por atender una demanda sentida de la comunidad y refrend\u00f3 la colaboraci\u00f3n de las y los ciudadanos en estos esfuerzos. \u201cHoy se nota el cambio. Sabemos que todav\u00eda hay retos por delante, pero este avance nos da esperanza y confianza para seguir trabajando en equipo\u201d, dijo.<\/p>\n

El director de Alumbrado P\u00fablico, Luis Enrique Mas Kumul, detall\u00f3 que las nuevas luminarias cumplen con la norma oficial mexicana NOM-031-ENER-2019 y destac\u00f3 que el proyecto podr\u00eda incluir en una segunda etapa un sistema de telegesti\u00f3n, que permitir\u00e1 monitorear cada l\u00e1mpara, programar horarios de encendido y detectar fallas en tiempo real.<\/p>\n

Con este proyecto, el gobierno municipal reafirma su compromiso de ofrecer servicios p\u00fablicos de calidad, en armon\u00eda con el entorno y con una visi\u00f3n clara de desarrollo sostenible para todas y todos.<\/strong><\/p>\n
