Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 3 de junio de 2025.\u2014 En el marco del evento Compromiso Ambiental en Acci\u00f3n, el Ayuntamiento de Puerto Morelos entreg\u00f3 reconocimientos a investigadores, acad\u00e9micos, activistas, al ejido Puerto Morelos y a colaboradores de la administraci\u00f3n municipal, por su destacada labor en favor de la conservaci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

\u201cHoy celebramos los esfuerzos y la dedicaci\u00f3n de quienes, desde su lugar de trabajo, hogar o como parte de colectivos e instituciones, contribuyen a cuidar y preservar lo m\u00e1s valioso que tenemos: nuestro entorno natural\u201d, expres\u00f3 Jos\u00e9 de Jes\u00fas Espinosa Pay\u00e1n, secretario general del Ayuntamiento.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Durante la ceremonia, realizada con motivo del D\u00eda Mundial del Medio Ambiente \u2014que se conmemora el 5 de junio\u2014 y en representaci\u00f3n de la presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz, Espinosa Pay\u00e1n hizo un llamado a proteger la biodiversidad que distingue a Puerto Morelos, con el objetivo de que las pr\u00f3ximas generaciones tambi\u00e9n puedan disfrutarla.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, agradeci\u00f3 a los galardonados por su visi\u00f3n de un futuro m\u00e1s sostenible y por su incansable esfuerzo reflejado en cada proyecto y acci\u00f3n emprendida.
\n\u201cPuerto Morelos est\u00e1 orgulloso de tenerlos como aliados en la construcci\u00f3n de un municipio m\u00e1s resiliente, consciente y comprometido con la protecci\u00f3n de los recursos naturales\u201d, subray\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Aim\u00e9e Rodr\u00edguez Vivas, secretaria de Medio Ambiente, Bienestar Animal y Movilidad Sustentable, invit\u00f3 a reflexionar y actuar en favor del planeta.
\nAgradeci\u00f3 a quienes han dado ejemplo durante a\u00f1os con su trabajo, afirmando que \u201cmantienen viva la esperanza en un futuro m\u00e1s verde, justo y equilibrado\u201d.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cNo hay esfuerzo peque\u00f1o cuando se trata de cuidar lo que amamos. Cuidar el medio ambiente no es una opci\u00f3n, es una responsabilidad compartida y un acto de amor\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Los galardonados son Claudia Padilla Souza, especialista en arrecifes; Rosa Rodr\u00edguez Mart\u00ednez, impulsora de la conservaci\u00f3n marina; Guadalupe Vel\u00e1zquez Olim\u00e1n, profesional en aguas subterr\u00e1neas y Aisha Carolina Pe\u00f1a Torres, fundadora de Unidos por la Madre Naturaleza.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n se entregaron reconocimientos al Parque Nacional Arrecife de Puerto Morelos, creado el 2 de febrero de 1998, el cual recibi\u00f3 su actual director Octavio Granados Gonz\u00e1lez y al ejido Puerto Morelos, por su contribuci\u00f3n a la conservaci\u00f3n de la selva, al donar 5,000 hect\u00e1reas con ese fin.<\/p>\n

En el evento tambi\u00e9n estuvieron presentes Javier Alejandro Hern\u00e1ndez Santill\u00e1n y Esteban Uicab Tuz, presidentes de los colegios de Ingenieros y Arquitectos de Puerto Morelos, respectivamente, as\u00ed como Ra\u00fal Guadarrama Garc\u00eda, secretario municipal de Turismo Sustentable.<\/strong><\/p>\n
