julio de 2024.- Aun cuando no fue sino hasta esta ma\u00f1ana cuando el hurac\u00e1n \u201cBeryl\u201d de categor\u00eda dos en la escala Saffir-Simpson toc\u00f3 tierra en Quintana Roo, a las 6:05 en el municipio de Tulum, sus primeros efectos comenzaron a sentirse desde anoche en Puerto Morelos, donde se reporta saldo blanco, pues la lluvia y viento solo causaron da\u00f1os menores, principalmente ramas, \u00e1rboles ca\u00eddos y algunos encharcamientos, inform\u00f3 la presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Alcaldesa, quien levant\u00f3 la sesi\u00f3n permanente del Comit\u00e9 Operativo Municipal para la Temporada d Lluvias y Ciclones Tropicales 2024, por la presencia la contingencia provocada por el meteoro, coment\u00f3 que los tres primeros refugios abiertos en Puerto Morelos, en el Colegio de Bachilleres, la Telesecundaria \u201cRam\u00f3n Bravo Prieto\u201d y el Sindicato de Taxistas \u201cC\u00e9sar Mart\u00edn Rosado\u201d, recibieron a 124 personas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En Leona Vicario, agreg\u00f3, se atendieron a 24 personas en los refugios habilitados en la Universidad Yucat\u00e1n Pen\u00ednsula Misi\u00f3n y el Templo Alfa y Omega, en tanto que en Central Vallarta, que se instal\u00f3 en la escuela del Conafe, llegaron 8 vecinos de la localidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Luego de comentar que en total se brind\u00f3 refugio a 156 personas, quienes recibieron colchonetas, cobertores, agua y comida caliente, subray\u00f3 que, gracias a la organizaci\u00f3n de funcionarios municipales, voluntarios y dependencias del Estado y la Federaci\u00f3n, se obtuvo saldo blanco.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cNo hubo necesidad de evacuar a ning\u00fan turista de la zona de playas\u201d, agreg\u00f3 Blanca Merari, quien inform\u00f3 que los servicios de luz, agua potable y telefon\u00eda funcionan con normalidad en Puerto Morelos y en hoy inici\u00f3 el proceso de recuperaci\u00f3n para el municipio.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al respecto, el coordinador municipal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, Guillermo Morales L\u00f3pez, indic\u00f3 que, cuando el tiempo as\u00ed lo permiti\u00f3, personal del ayuntamiento comenz\u00f3 a despejar vialidades para restablecer la circulaci\u00f3n, luego de que ramas de \u00e1rboles cayeron por los fuertes vientos del hurac\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asimismo, coment\u00f3 que entre las incidencias se report\u00f3 una emergencia, por un ni\u00f1o de 2 a\u00f1os de edad que present\u00f3 convulsiones, al cual se le brind\u00f3 atenci\u00f3n oportuna en el dispensario m\u00e9dico de Puerto Morelos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por su parte, el secretario general del Ayuntamiento, Jos\u00e9 de Jes\u00fas Espinosa Pay\u00e1n, coment\u00f3 que las rampas para el regreso de las embarcaciones al mar, ya fueron reabiertas, a la espera de indicaciones de la Capitan\u00eda de Puerto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Tanto el Gobierno del Estado como la Secretar\u00eda de Marina felicitaron a los integrantes del Comit\u00e9 por la gran labor realizada antes, durante y despu\u00e9s del embate del hurac\u00e1n \u201cBeryl\u201d que dej\u00f3 ya de representar peligro para Quintana Roo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
