Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 6 de enero de 2024.- La presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz y la gobernadora de Quintana Roo, Mara Lezama Espinosa, inauguraron hoy el Museo y Centro Cultural de Puerto Morelos, cuyo objetivo es fortalecer la creatividad e identidad del municipio.
\nDurante la ceremonia, la primera autoridad municipal destac\u00f3 que no se trata s\u00f3lo de un edificio, sino de un punto de encuentro para la sociedad, un lugar donde la creatividad crece y la identidad se fortalezca a trav\u00e9s de talleres de pintura, danza, narraci\u00f3n, entre otros. Adem\u00e1s de conservar y difundir exponer las obras de arte de hombres y mujeres de la comunidad que contar\u00e1n la historia del municipio.<\/p>\n

\u201cEn Puerto Morelos estamos en la ruta correcta, la de hacer de la cultura un testamento de nuestro pasado y un catalizador de nuestro futuro cultural, a trav\u00e9s del impulso de disciplinas art\u00edsticas, que nos permitan crecer como comunidad\u201d, destac\u00f3 Blanca Merari Tziu.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Cabe mencionar que la inversi\u00f3n para este inmueble fue de 11 millones 900 mil pesos, provenientes del gobierno federal, a trav\u00e9s de la Secretar\u00eda de Desarrollo Agrario, Territorial y Urbano (Sedatu).
\nPor su parte, la gobernadora Mara Lezama indic\u00f3 que es fundamental contar con un espacio cultural en el municipio, porque es el primer paso para dar vida a esa infraestructura, incidir en la recomposici\u00f3n del tejido social y brindar un espacio a las y los artistas de Puerto Morelos, adem\u00e1s de ofrecer a los turistas un atractivo m\u00e1s de la cultura local.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl Nuevo Acuerdo por el Bienestar y Desarrollo de Quintana Roo se plasma en lo que hoy estamos haciendo aqu\u00ed, un trabajo en conjunto entre los diferentes \u00f3rdenes de gobierno en beneficio de toda la poblaci\u00f3n\u201d, reiter\u00f3 la mandataria estatal.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

En tanto, Ernesto Pav\u00f3n Guti\u00e9rrez, representante de la Sedatu en Quintana Roo, mencion\u00f3 que hay un gran trabajo de mejoramiento urbano que se desarrolla con los gobiernos estatal y municipal, que abarca \u00e1reas culturales, deportivas, de protecci\u00f3n civil y comunitarias que permitir\u00e1n mejorar las condiciones de vida de todos los habitantes.
\nPrevio al corte de list\u00f3n, la muralista Nora Jacobs, quien forma parte de los artistas que dise\u00f1aron el mural que distingue al Museo y Centro Cultural de Puerto Morelos, explic\u00f3 que la ceiba es el \u00e1rbol sagrado de los mayas, que simboliza la conexi\u00f3n de la tierra con el cielo y el inframundo.
\nAsimismo, las autoridades, junto con los invitados especiales, hicieron un recorrido por el Centro Cultural en el que se present\u00f3 la exposici\u00f3n \u201cMuestra Chem Maya\u201d, del grupo Xcaret, cuyo prop\u00f3sito es preservar el conocimiento de rituales prehisp\u00e1nicos que dieron sentido a la ra\u00edz cultural.
\nEn esta inauguraci\u00f3n estuvieron presentes la directora del Instituto para la Cultura y las Artes de Quintana Roo, Lili\u00e1n Villanueva Chan; el representante del grupo Xcaret, Nelson de Jes\u00fas G\u00f3mez Ku, y do\u00f1a Zenaida Zetina, pionera de Puerto Morelos, entro otros invitados.<\/p>\n
