Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 1 de enero de 2024.- La capacitaci\u00f3n de los elementos de la Secretar\u00eda municipal de Seguridad P\u00fablica y Tr\u00e1nsito continuar\u00e1 como tema prioritario en este a\u00f1o que reci\u00e9n inicia, ya que de ello depende el saber actuar a tiempo ante cualquier emergencia, destac\u00f3 el titular de la dependencia, Alfredo Valdez de Le\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

El Secretario remarc\u00f3 lo anterior, luego de que la oportuna intervenci\u00f3n de la polic\u00eda Lindesay Franco Cox permitiera salvar la vida de un beb\u00e9 en el Residencial Palma Grand, en la cabecera municipal, quien el d\u00eda de ayer por la tarde, previo a la celebraci\u00f3n de A\u00f1o Nuevo, estuvo a punto de asfixiarse.<\/p>\n

\u201cNuestra presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz nos ha hecho hincapi\u00e9 en que la capacitaci\u00f3n, junto con el equipamiento de la corporaci\u00f3n, es fundamental para dar buenos resultados a la ciudadan\u00eda, por ello, seguiremos gestionando cursos y talleres que complementen la labor diaria de nuestro personal\u201d, coment\u00f3 el funcionario.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Cabe recordar que apenas a principios de diciembre, m\u00e1s de 40 elementos de la Secretar\u00eda municipal de Seguridad P\u00fablica y Tr\u00e1nsito tomaron un curso de primeros auxilios, con el objetivo de reforzar sus conocimientos y poder actuar ante cualquier situaci\u00f3n de emergencia que pudiera registrarse a lo largo del periodo vacacional de invierno.<\/p>\n

Y es que ante la temporada alta en la que se registra la llegada de cientos de vacacionistas al destino, los primeros auxilios se vuelven una acci\u00f3n primordial para salvar vidas. El curso fue impartido por instructores de Protecci\u00f3n Civil del vecino municipio de Benito Ju\u00e1rez.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con la narrativa de los elementos de la corporaci\u00f3n, a las 13:15 horas del d\u00eda 31 de diciembre de 2023, se recibi\u00f3 un reporte al n\u00famero de emergencias 911, en el que solicitaban una unidad m\u00e9dica en la caseta de Residencial Palma Grand, ya que un beb\u00e9 de aproximadamente un a\u00f1o, de origen extranjero, presentaba asfixia a causa de ingerir man\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Al recibir la informaci\u00f3n, una unidad de la polic\u00eda municipal lleg\u00f3 al lugar para brindar apoyo a los param\u00e9dicos para un posible traslado de la peque\u00f1a v\u00edctima, pero al percatarse que \u00e9sta a\u00fan no llegaba y al ver la urgencia de atender al menor, que ya estaba inconsciente, la polic\u00eda Lindesay Franco aplic\u00f3 t\u00e9cnicas de reanimaci\u00f3n para salvarle la vida, con compresiones en el pecho y coloc\u00e1ndolo boca abajo, adem\u00e1s de darle masajes en la espalda.<\/p>\n

Enseguida arrib\u00f3 la ambulancia para trasladar al menor para observaci\u00f3n y revisi\u00f3n m\u00e9dica.<\/p>\n

Lindesay Franco es un elemento que, al igual que muchos de sus compa\u00f1eros, est\u00e1 constantemente en capacitaci\u00f3n. En breve se recibir\u00e1 como licenciada en Derecho.<\/p>\n
