Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 30 de diciembre de 2023.\u2014 Conforme al compromiso asumido por la alcaldesa Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz desde su campa\u00f1a, la apicultura recibe fuerte impulso en esta administraci\u00f3n y ya se prepara para llevar el dulce al mercado internacional, afirm\u00f3 Manuel G\u00f3ngora Sansores, director de Fomento Agropecuario, de la Secretar\u00eda municipal de Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico y Mejora Regulatoria.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ya se tiene un centro de acopio que pertenece a la Sociedad Cooperativa de Leona Vicario, la cual cuenta con 9 socios fijos y recibe, adem\u00e1s, la miel de 30 productores libres, incluso de otros municipios, a fin de alcanzar vol\u00famenes que aseguren el abasto en el mercado, expuso.<\/p>\n

La agrupaci\u00f3n ya alcanz\u00f3 una producci\u00f3n anual de 9 toneladas \u2013el m\u00ednimo requerido para exportar son 5 toneladas\u2013, gracias, en parte, a que se han registrado cinco floraciones en el a\u00f1o, de tal forma que las abejas no tienen problemas para encontrar n\u00e9ctar.<\/p>\n

G\u00f3ngora Sansores indic\u00f3 que las certificaciones tambi\u00e9n contribuyeron al avance de la actividad. Una de las m\u00e1s importantes es la que garantiza que la miel est\u00e1 \u201clibre de varroa\u201d, continu\u00f3. Esto permite, adem\u00e1s, que la Unidad de Producci\u00f3n Pecuaria lleve un control estad\u00edstico sobre el n\u00famero de productores, colmenas y vol\u00famenes de producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\u201cNos falta un par de certificaciones, pero ya estamos trabajando en ese tema. Una de estas es la que garantiza al consumidor que la miel es de origen org\u00e1nico, es decir, que es inocua y en su proceso de producci\u00f3n y manejo no se utilizaron qu\u00edmicos\u201d, continu\u00f3.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Respecto al proyecto para producir caramelos, champ\u00fa y jab\u00f3n, entre otros productos, a partir de la miel, explic\u00f3 que si bien hay quienes lo est\u00e1n haciendo de manera artesanal, el principal obst\u00e1culo es la falta de infraestructura para la actividad.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, continu\u00f3, ya comenzamos el proceso de organizaci\u00f3n de quienes elaborar\u00e1n esos productos, lo cual es un requisito. En forma paralela se hace un an\u00e1lisis de costos sobre la inversi\u00f3n necesaria para equipar a cada unidad de producci\u00f3n y c\u00f3mo se podr\u00eda obtener financiamiento.<\/p>\n

Por \u00faltimo, record\u00f3 que hay un proyecto para vender miel de melipona y destac\u00f3 que ya se trabaja en la constituci\u00f3n de la primera Sociedad Cooperativa de Productores de Miel de Abeja Melipona.<\/p>\n
