Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 27 de diciembre de 2023.- Con el objetivo de prevenir accidentes vehiculares en la actual temporada vacacional, el gobierno de Puerto Morelos, por conducto de la Direcci\u00f3n de Tr\u00e1nsito, puso en marcha una campa\u00f1a de concientizaci\u00f3n vial dirigida a automovilistas locales y visitantes.<\/p>\n

Al respecto, el titular de la dependencia, Jorge Luis Villegas Cerino, dio a conocer que la instrucci\u00f3n de la alcaldesa Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz y del secretario municipal de Seguridad P\u00fablica y Tr\u00e1nsito, Alfredo Valdez de Le\u00f3n, es fortalecer la campa\u00f1a informativa para invitar a los conductores a manejar de manera responsable.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl prop\u00f3sito es conminar a los ciudadanos a que eviten conducir bajo los influjos del alcohol, que respeten los l\u00edmites de velocidad y los se\u00f1alamientos viales, tanto en la zona urbana como en las carreteras de la demarcaci\u00f3n, no manejar cansados, evitar cualquier distracci\u00f3n al estar al volante, etc\u00e9tera, ya que eso puede ser la diferencia entre la vida y la muerte\u201d, explic\u00f3 el funcionario.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Dijo que de manera aleatoria se comenzaron a instalar filtros de seguridad en toda la geograf\u00eda municipal, justamente para detectar a conductores alcoholizados o que hayan consumido alguna droga. Tambi\u00e9n, se supervisa que todos cuenten con documentaci\u00f3n en regla.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstamos invitando a los conductores a que respeten los l\u00edmites de velocidad, ya que al hacerlo disminuyen las probabilidades de sufrir alg\u00fan accidente vehicular. De la misma manera a que no manejen cansados, que usen el cintur\u00f3n de seguridad y que respeten los pasos peatonales, entre otras recomendaciones precisas, como parte de las acciones para cuidar a la poblaci\u00f3n y los turistas\u201d, indic\u00f3 Jorge Luis Villegas Cerino.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cSi tomas no manejes\u201d, \u201cEn casa te esperan\u201d, \u201cDespu\u00e9s de un accidente nada es igual\u201d, forman parte de las frases que la Direcci\u00f3n de Tr\u00e1nsito difunde a trav\u00e9s de redes sociales oficiales del Ayuntamiento y de manera directa entre los conductores que transitan por territorio portomorelense.<\/p>\n
