Puerto Morelos Quintana Roo, 26 de diciembre de 2023.- Puerto Morelos llev\u00f3 a cabo una intensa labor en materia de protecci\u00f3n civil durante este 2023, en la que hicimos frente a las temporadas de Incendios Forestales y la de Lluvias y Ciclones Tropicales, explic\u00f3 Guillermo Morales L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n

El Coordinador Municipal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil indic\u00f3 que, adem\u00e1s, este a\u00f1o se pusieron en marcha tres operativos vacacionales: Semana Santa, Verano y \u201cGuadalupe-Reyes\u201d (este \u00faltimo se encuentra vigente). \u201cAdem\u00e1s enfrentamos una ola de calor entre julio y agosto que nos puso en alerta para prevenir a la poblaci\u00f3n sobre los riesgos que esto conlleva, principalmente en ni\u00f1os y adultos mayores\u201d, agreg\u00f3 el funcionario.<\/p>\n

Como parte del calendario de actividades puestas en marcha durante el a\u00f1o, recalc\u00f3 que Puerto Morelos particip\u00f3 en los dos simulacros nacionales, el primero de ellos en el mes de abril y el segundo en septiembre, impulsados desde la Coordinaci\u00f3n Nacional de Protecci\u00f3n Civil.<\/p>\n

\u201cLos simulacros son ejercicios de prevenci\u00f3n para evaluar capacidades de respuesta ante una emergencia, mejorar planes y protocolos de emergencia de autoridades y sociedad\u201d, expuso.<\/p>\n

\u201cFue un a\u00f1o muy intenso en muchos sentidos, empezamos el primer semestre con las actividades de incendios forestales. Afortunadamente Puerto Morelos fue uno de los municipios de Quintana Roo que firm\u00f3 un convenio con la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional Forestal (Conafor) a fin de tener apoyo permanente, a trav\u00e9s de la brigada comunitaria, para atender los incendios que se registraron\u201d, coment\u00f3.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

El Coordinador de Protecci\u00f3n Civil indic\u00f3 que en materia de ciclones tropicales hubo baja incidencia para la zona, gracias al efecto del \u201cNi\u00f1o\u201d.<\/p>\n

Sobre los operativos vacacionales, en los que trabajan de manera coordinada instancias de los tres \u00f3rdenes de gobierno, subray\u00f3 que hasta el d\u00eda de hoy con el \u201cGuadalupe-Reyes\u201d que est\u00e1 vigente, todos han reportado saldo blanco. \u201cHemos conformado un equipo que trata de ser mayormente preventivo para evitar tener que ser reactivo\u201d.<\/p>\n

Por otro lado, Guillermo Morales destac\u00f3 que todos los colaboradores de la dependencia que encabeza est\u00e1n inscritos en la Escuela Nacional de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, para obtener la certificaci\u00f3n que es obligatoria para formar parte de esta \u00e1rea de la administraci\u00f3n. Hasta el momento, destac\u00f3, seis de las siete subdirecciones de la Coordinaci\u00f3n ya tienen dicha certificaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Agreg\u00f3 que el personal ha tomado cursos sobre gesti\u00f3n de riesgos, manejo de animales peligrosos y de atenci\u00f3n a emergencias, entre otros.<\/p>\n
