Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 4 de diciembre de 2023.- Personal de la Zona Federal Mar\u00edtimo Terrestre (Zofemat) acompa\u00f1\u00f3 a los inspectores de la Fundaci\u00f3n para la Educaci\u00f3n Ambiental (FEE por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) en M\u00e9xico, durante una visita de control en la Ventana al Mar y Playa Sol, que cuentan con el distintivo internacional \u201cBlue Flag\u201d para la temporada 2023-2024.
\nAl respecto, el titular de la dependencia municipal, Gerardo Rosas Garc\u00eda, explic\u00f3 que se trata de una visita de control de las dos programadas anualmente, para verificar los procedimientos en las playas certificadas, a fin de que cumplan los 33 criterios que se exigen para recibir el estandarte.
\nCabe mencionar que tanto Ventana al Mar como Playa Sol recibieron la calificaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s alta en el rubro de Calidad del Agua al ser certificadas con la \u201cBandera Azul\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa instrucci\u00f3n de nuestra presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz es no bajar la guardia, para que las dos playas \u2018Blue Flag\u2019 de Puerto Morelos cumplan con la normativa que pide la FEE, para continuar dentro del selecto grupo de playas y marinas certificadas a nivel mundial\u201d, expuso el funcionario.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dijo que el contar con la \u201cBandera Azul\u201d permite al destino atraer a turismo selectivo, que busca playas certificadas, en las que los gobiernos locales est\u00e9n comprometidos con el medio ambiente y con fortalecer la educaci\u00f3n ambiental.
\nDurante estas visitas de control, el personal de la FEE revisa, entre otros puntos, los arenales de manera manual con trabajos de criba en busca de residuos pl\u00e1sticos, colillas de cigarro, corcholatas y todo material que no forma parte del ecosistema de la playa.<\/p>\n
