Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 21 de noviembre de 2023.\u2014 La presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz encabez\u00f3 hoy la III Sesi\u00f3n Ordinaria del Consejo Municipal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, que tuvo lugar en la Sala de Cabildo \u201cJos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Morelos\u201d y en la que se aprob\u00f3 el Programa Municipal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa protecci\u00f3n civil es una tarea que requiere el esfuerzo conjunto de autoridades municipales, estatales, federales, sociedad civil y sector privado, para garantizar respuesta efectiva ante situaciones de emergencia, riesgo o contingencias naturales\u201d, explic\u00f3 la Alcaldesa.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

En ese sentido, destac\u00f3 la importancia de revisar y fortalecer los planes y protocolos de actuaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa prevenci\u00f3n y preparaci\u00f3n son fundamentales para minimizar el impacto de eventos adversos\u201d, manifest\u00f3.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Luego de agradecer el trabajo de los cuerpos de emergencia municipales, voluntarios y personal dedicado a la protecci\u00f3n civil, cuya dedicaci\u00f3n es ejemplo de compromiso y responsabilidad, dijo que en \u201cPuerto Morelos estamos en la ruta correcta, la de fortalecer permanentemente nuestra capacidad de respuesta ante emergencias y reafirmar el compromiso con la seguridad y bienestar de los habitantes del municipio\u201d.
\nEl Plan Municipal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, debidamente actualizado, incluye acciones preventivas ante agentes perturbadores de car\u00e1cter meteorol\u00f3gico, qu\u00edmicos, marinos y de diversa \u00edndole y constituye un precedente actualizado para la elaboraci\u00f3n del Atlas de Riesgos del municipio, dijo por su parte el coordinador municipal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, Guillermo Morales L\u00f3pez.
\nEl Plan identifica las tres zonas de evacuaci\u00f3n en casos de emergencia para la zona tur\u00edstica \u2013Petempich, para el \u00e1rea norte; Crococun, para la centro y la avenida Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Morelos, para la sur\u2013. Los consejeros solicitaron que se analice la necesidad de ampliar el n\u00famero de carriles o construir una nueva ruta de evacuaci\u00f3n, aunque se deben considerar aspectos ambientales, entre otras cosas.
\nAdem\u00e1s, los miembros del consejo sugirieron tambi\u00e9n que se estudien opciones para prevenir accidentes en la carretera a Canc\u00fan, principalmente en los accesos a Petempich y Crococun, para lo cual ser\u00eda necesario acordar con la Secretar\u00eda de Infraestructura, Comunicaciones y Transportes la instalaci\u00f3n de se\u00f1alamientos o \u201ctopes\u201d para que los conductores reduzcan su velocidad en esos puntos de la v\u00eda federal.
\nEn la sesi\u00f3n participaron Guillermo N\u00fa\u00f1ez Leal, director de la Coordinaci\u00f3n Estatal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil; Jos\u00e9 \u00c1ngel Campos Gracia, de la Secretar\u00eda de Marina; Jos\u00e9 Iv\u00e1n Callos Pascual, de la Guardia Nacional; Jos\u00e9 de Jes\u00fas Espinosa Pay\u00e1n, secretario general del Ayuntamiento; el s\u00edndico Alberto Arelle Sergent, regidores, secretarios y directores de las dependencias municipales, entre otros invitados.<\/p>\n
