Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 31 de octubre de 2023.- Habitantes de Puerto Morelos disfrutaron anoche de los festejos con motivo del D\u00eda de Muertos, para recordar a familiares y amigos fallecidos, y que a\u00f1o con a\u00f1o se lleva a cabo en este municipio como parte de sus tradiciones m\u00e1s arraigadas.
\nEn este marco, la alcaldesa Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz aplaudi\u00f3 la participaci\u00f3n de la gente en la colocaci\u00f3n de altares y ofrendas para rendir tributo a quienes se adelantaron en el camino, adem\u00e1s de participar en el Paseo de las \u00c1nimas y premiar a los ganadores de los concursos de catrinas, calaveritas y altares.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl preservar las tradiciones nos va forjando una identidad como pueblo, por eso, agradezco la participaci\u00f3n de todas y todos con sus disfraces, sus ofrendas, con sus bailables, haciendo de este festejo una forma de promover nuestro destino tur\u00edstico\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 la Presidenta Municipal.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

La festividad inici\u00f3 precisamente con el Paseo de las \u00c1nimas que se realiz\u00f3 desde el pante\u00f3n y lleg\u00f3 hasta el Palacio Municipal, en el que caminaron las catrinas y catrines de todas las edades con coloridos trajes, sin faltar los danzantes mayas, el grupo de m\u00fasica tradicional yucateca y enormes figuras de calaveras. Todos los participantes llevaban velas o veladoras.
\nLuego de presenciar y premiar a los ganadores de los diferentes concursos, Blanca Merari Tziu recorri\u00f3 los altares que se montaron sobre el camell\u00f3n principal de la avenida Joaqu\u00edn Zetina Gasca, con elementos caracter\u00edsticos como las flores de cempas\u00fachil que forman el camino del color y olor que trazan el Paseo de las \u00c1nimas, el papel picado, el incienso, la comida y todo lo que envuelve el misticismo del Hanal Pix\u00e1n.
\nPara animar la fiesta se presentaron los ballets folcl\u00f3ricos Renacimiento, Corales del Mar y Chac Nict\u00e9.<\/p>\n

\u201cEn Puerto Morelos estamos en la ruta correcta, la de la preservaci\u00f3n de nuestras tradiciones, creencias y cultura como una forma de mantenernos unidos en comunidad\u201d, destac\u00f3 la Presidenta Municipal, quien estuvo acompa\u00f1ada por Brittany Janney L\u00f3pez Garc\u00eda, directora general de Cultura y las Artes, y otros funcionarios municipales.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Las ganadoras del concurso de catrinas, en la categor\u00eda infantil, fueron Ivana Paulete (Mar\u00eda Lel\u00e9), primer lugar, seguida de Regina Zapata (La desdentada del ma\u00edz), y Celeste Uracha (Cempas\u00fachil de colores).
\nLa ganadora de la categor\u00eda libre fue Diana Pool (Catrina del Inframundo), el segundo lugar qued\u00f3 en manos de Larisa Pino (Catrina de Cempas\u00fachil) y el tercero para Dalila Garc\u00eda (Catrina Rosa Viva).
\nEl altar ganador fue el del Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Canc\u00fan, Unidad Puerto Morelos, el segundo puesto fue para Iudech y el tercero para Kooten Hanal. En calaveritas triunf\u00f3 Alaina Gonz\u00e1lez Pech (La Maestra), seguida de Leonardo Sandoval (Luna) y Randy y Lizandro Canul (El gato bajo la lluvia).<\/p>\n
