Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 19 de octubre de 2023.\u2014 En el marco del D\u00eda Internacional de la Lucha Contra el C\u00e1ncer de Mama y gracias al v\u00ednculo que mantiene el gobierno de Puerto Morelos con asociaciones civiles como la Fundaci\u00f3n Luna A.C., hoy se entregaron pr\u00f3tesis mamarias externas a tres mujeres que sobrevivieron al c\u00e1ncer.
\nEn el acto, que se llev\u00f3 a cabo en la Sala de Juntas del Palacio Municipal, el secretario general del Ayuntamiento, Jos\u00e9 de Jes\u00fas Espinosa Pay\u00e1n, quien asisti\u00f3 en representaci\u00f3n de la presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz, manifest\u00f3 que la salud es una tarea prioritaria, por lo que trabajan para apoyar y brindar calidad de vida a quienes han pasado por una de las experiencias m\u00e1s dolorosas, como es el c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstamos haciendo \u00e9nfasis en la necesidad de fortalecer el h\u00e1bito de la prevenci\u00f3n. Tengan presente que el c\u00e1ncer es una enfermedad que se puede curar si se detecta a tiempo. Por eso insistimos en que deben acudir de manera peri\u00f3dica a revisiones m\u00e9dicas\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Por su parte, Carlos Augusto Ramos Cant\u00fa, presidente de la mesa directiva Lustros 2023-2028 y Alejandra Mas, procuradora de Fondos de la Fundaci\u00f3n Luna A.C., agradecieron a las autoridades la oportunidad de fortalecer lazos con la gente de Puerto Morelos, a trav\u00e9s de su campa\u00f1a \u201cRegala miel con amor\u201d. Los fondos obtenidos mediante la venta del dulce sirven para financiar las pr\u00f3tesis que posteriormente son donadas.
\nEn tanto, la se\u00f1ora Lucero Mart\u00edn Ordaz, beneficiaria de una de las pr\u00f3tesis de mama, comparti\u00f3 su experiencia con esta enfermedad y convoc\u00f3 a las mujeres presentes a seguir tomando acciones, como la autoexploraci\u00f3n y visitas al m\u00e9dico cuando se detecte alguna anomal\u00eda. Al final, mostr\u00f3 su certificado \u201clibre de c\u00e1ncer\u201d, lo que mereci\u00f3 un fuerte aplauso como sobreviviente de la enfermedad.
\nPosteriormente, el doctor Lair Darren L\u00f3pez Mej\u00eda, director del Centro de Salud de la cabecera municipal, ofreci\u00f3 una pl\u00e1tica sobre las acciones preventivas contra el c\u00e1ncer de mama, que incluyen una alimentaci\u00f3n sana, practicar ejercicio, no fumar, no ingerir bebidas alcoh\u00f3licas y la autoexploraci\u00f3n diaria. Aclar\u00f3 que hay causas que no son controlables, como la gen\u00e9tica.
\nDe igual forma, la psic\u00f3loga Berenice Palomera, imparti\u00f3 la charla \u201cReconozco mis emociones y aprendo a aceptarlas\u201d, cuyo objetivo es saber hacer frente a esta enfermedad.<\/p>\n

Finalmente, el director del Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (DIF) Puerto Morelos, Antonio Chuc Pech, puntualiz\u00f3 que la labor de la instituci\u00f3n es velar por las personas m\u00e1s vulnerables, en este caso las mujeres y sus familias, porque son padecimientos que afectan a todos los miembros del hogar. Asimismo, agradeci\u00f3 a las organizaciones de la sociedad civil por sumarse para dar la mano a quien lo necesita.<\/p>\n
