Leona Vicario, Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 13 de julio de 2023.- El impulso al campo es un compromiso de nuestra gobernadora Mara Lezama Espinosa y de mi administraci\u00f3n, por lo que seguiremos gestionando apoyos en beneficio de la gente, se\u00f1al\u00f3 la alcaldesa Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz, al hacer entrega, en esta comunidad, de semillas de ma\u00edz mejorado a productores de todo el municipio.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cA veces podr\u00eda pensarse que en el municipio todo se refiere a turismo y no es as\u00ed, la producci\u00f3n alimentaria es importante y necesaria para el desarrollo de las dem\u00e1s actividades y se convierte en parte del fortalecimiento social y econ\u00f3mico de Puerto Morelos\u201d, coment\u00f3 la Presidenta Municipal durante el evento que tuvo lugar en el domo del cenote.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Indic\u00f3 que, con la entrega de una tonelada de ma\u00edz mejorado, gestionada ante la Secretar\u00eda de Desarrollo Agropecuario, Rural y Pesca (Sedarpe) de Quintana Roo, en beneficio de alrededor de 100 productores del municipio, se garantizar\u00e1n y mejorar\u00e1n el autoconsumo y las condiciones de nutrici\u00f3n de la poblaci\u00f3n.
\n\u201cQuiero nuevamente reconocer y agradecer desde aqu\u00ed, todo el trabajo de nuestra gobernadora Mara Lezama, por respaldar nuestra gesti\u00f3n ante Sedarpe, para hacer posible la llegada de estos insumos que ser\u00e1n de gran apoyo para los productores locales\u201d, abund\u00f3 Blanca Merari Tziu.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, la Presidenta Municipal pidi\u00f3 a los productores aprovechar al m\u00e1ximo estos recursos, ya que el campo es uno de los pilares de Puerto Morelos y requiere fortalecimiento a trav\u00e9s de su producci\u00f3n efectiva.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Antonio Rico Lomel\u00ed, subsecretario de Agricultura de la Sedarpe, coment\u00f3 que la idea de este programa, que es de los pocos que tiene la dependencia estatal con subsidio al 100 por ciento, es que se siga fomentando la producci\u00f3n de ma\u00edz para autoconsumo. Adem\u00e1s, tiene la ventaja de que, al quedar registrados, en autom\u00e1tico quedan inscritos por si quieren sembrar frijol negro o Jamapa en el ciclo oto\u00f1o-invierno, a fin de enriquecer la tierra con el cambio de gram\u00ednea a leguminosa.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cLa semilla que reciben hoy est\u00e1 certificada, es de ciclo tard\u00edo y para temporal, de modo que a\u00fan se puede sembrar en lo que resta de julio, esperando tener buen temporal, aunque tambi\u00e9n se puede usar en terrenos con riego, en los que se pueden obtener mejores rendimientos, aunque hay que apegarse al paquete tecnol\u00f3gico para la fertilizaci\u00f3n y combate de plagas y maleza\u201d, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

En tanto, Mart\u00edn Rodr\u00edguez Ch\u00e1vez, director de Proyectos Estrat\u00e9gicos del municipio, explic\u00f3 que cuando se emitieron las reglas de operaci\u00f3n para este programa se tuvo contacto directo con personal de la Direcci\u00f3n de Fomento Agr\u00edcola, para intercambiar puntos de vista con respecto a los requisitos y se formularon algunas propuestas para que los productores pudieran acceder a este apoyo.<\/p>\n

En su mensaje, Ignacio S\u00e1nchez Herrera, director de Fomento Agropecuario y Pesquero de Puerto Morelos, reiter\u00f3 el compromiso del gobierno de Blanca Merari Tziu de respaldar a los productores del campo local.
