Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 20 de junio de 2023.- Con el objetivo de prevenir la violencia de g\u00e9nero en cualquiera de sus modalidades dentro de la administraci\u00f3n p\u00fablica local y en la sociedad en su conjunto, el gobierno de Puerto Morelos, a trav\u00e9s del Instituto Municipal de la Mujer (IMM), difunde material informativo para poder detectar, denunciar y atender este flagelo.<\/p>\n
\u201cLa instrucci\u00f3n de nuestra presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz es trabajar de manera coordinada con las secretar\u00edas, direcciones y diferentes \u00e1reas que conforman la actual administraci\u00f3n 2021-2024, para que construyamos entre todas y todos, una cultura de paz y respeto a los derechos humanos\u201d, coment\u00f3 Arlette Escudero Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez, titular del IMM.<\/p>\n
En este contexto, dijo que el prop\u00f3sito de la campa\u00f1a que ser\u00e1 permanente es que, tanto al interior del gobierno municipal como en la sociedad en general, se reciba informaci\u00f3n, por medio de tr\u00edpticos, p\u00f3sters y flayers, que permita cerrar filas en el combate a la violencia de g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cEs importante saber identificar las formas de violencia que se ejercen en contra de mujeres y, en caso de encontrarse en una situaci\u00f3n de riesgo, hacer la denuncia correspondiente. Quienes sean v\u00edctimas es importante acudir a las instancias correspondientes como el Grupo Especializado de Atenci\u00f3n a la Violencia Familiar y de G\u00e9nero (Geavig) o el IMM, donde recibir\u00e1n apoyo y acompa\u00f1amiento\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n
Por otro lado, Arlette Escudero explic\u00f3 que la violencia de g\u00e9nero es todo acto que resulte o pueda tener como resultado un da\u00f1o f\u00edsico, sexual o psicol\u00f3gico hacia la mujer. \u201cLas amenazas de tales actos, la coacci\u00f3n o la privaci\u00f3n arbitraria de la libertad, ya sea en la vida p\u00fablica o en la privada, tambi\u00e9n son formas de violencia de g\u00e9nero\u201d, expuso.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
La funcionaria municipal refiri\u00f3 que la violencia de g\u00e9nero es un atentado a los derechos humanos que afecta a mujeres y ni\u00f1as, y \u00e9sta no se genera de manera espont\u00e1nea, sino que con el paso del tiempo se convierte en un estilo de vida, en el que las personas se acostumbran a ella y viven como si fuera algo normal.<\/p>\n
