Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 15 de junio de 2023.- Con el objetivo de empoderar a las personas de la tercera edad para ayudarlas a autoprotegerse de cualquier tipo de violencia, el Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (DIF) de Puerto Morelos, organiz\u00f3 hoy una pl\u00e1tica en la casa del Adulto Mayor \u201cNohoch Uinic\u201d.<\/p>\n
Al respecto, el director general de la instituci\u00f3n, Antonio Chuc Pech, explic\u00f3 que la instrucci\u00f3n de la presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz es brindar a los abuelitos las herramientas necesarias, que les ayuden a detectar indicios de violencia por parte de sus familiares o cualquier otra persona.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cNo descansaremos hasta garantizar que nuestras abuelitas y abuelitos tengan una vida digna, libre de agresiones. Ellos son personas que nos comparten sus experiencias y conocimientos; son los grandes maestros de la vida\u201d, coment\u00f3 el funcionario, quien anunci\u00f3 que esta pl\u00e1tica se organiza en el marco del D\u00eda Mundial de Toma de Conciencia del Abuso y Maltrato en la Vejez, que se conmemora este 15 de junio, establecido as\u00ed por la Asamblea General de la Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Asimismo, agradeci\u00f3 el apoyo de las secretar\u00edas municipales de Desarrollo Social y de Seguridad P\u00fablica y Tr\u00e1nsito, dependencias que por conducto de Promoci\u00f3n de la Salud y el Grupo Especializado de Atenci\u00f3n a la Violencia Familiar y de G\u00e9nero (Geavig), respectivamente, compartieron informaci\u00f3n para ayudar a los adultos mayores a autoprotegerse, ayudar a otras personas y en caso de ser v\u00edctimas saber a qu\u00e9 instancias recurrir.<\/p>\n
\u201cSeguiremos uniendo esfuerzos para proteger a nuestros grupos m\u00e1s vulnerables. Esta es una jornada informativa en la que queremos que haya mucha retroalimentaci\u00f3n, y ser\u00e1 la primera de muchas actividades que organizaremos en beneficio de nuestras abuelitas y abuelitos de Puerto Morelos\u201d, agreg\u00f3.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
En su exposici\u00f3n, Sergio Hurtado Acosta, promotor de la Salud de la Secretar\u00eda municipal de Desarrollo Social, explic\u00f3 los diferentes tipos de violencia que pueden recibir las personas de la tercera edad, como son la f\u00edsica, psicol\u00f3gica, econ\u00f3mica y estructural, que se refiere a situaciones en las que se producen da\u00f1os a necesidades humanas b\u00e1sicas como la supervivencia, la libertad, el bienestar o la identidad.<\/p>\n
Tambi\u00e9n participaron las psic\u00f3logas del DIF Puerto Morelos Mayt\u00e9 Barajas Garc\u00eda y Berenice Palomera Gonz\u00e1lez, as\u00ed como el equipo del Geavig encabezado por su directora, Daniela P\u00e9rez L\u00f3pez, quienes hablaron sobre los derechos fundamentales de los abuelitos para tener una vida libre de violencia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
