Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 9 de junio de 2023.- Con la expectativa de superar las 50 embarcaciones inscritas para la sexta edici\u00f3n del Torneo de Pesca Femenil \u201cLa Diosa del Mar\u201d, a realizarse el 7 y 8 de julio pr\u00f3ximo, Puerto Morelos se alista para recibir esta competencia que lo consolida como un destino deportivo de talla internacional.<\/p>\n

En conferencia de prensa, Karla Luna, presidenta del comit\u00e9 organizador, agradeci\u00f3 el respaldo del gobierno de Puerto Morelos para la realizaci\u00f3n del torneo, que se ha posicionado a nivel regional y convertido en una verdadera fiesta deportiva, ya que acuden familias enteras durante todo un fin de semana.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, inform\u00f3 que hasta el momento se han inscrito 21 embarcaciones de Canc\u00fan, Cozumel, Isla Mujeres y el anfitri\u00f3n Puerto Morelos, adem\u00e1s de que se espera la llegada de participantes de California y Texas, en Estados Unidos, que a\u00f1o con a\u00f1o se suman a este torneo.<\/p>\n

Durante el encuentro con los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n en la marina del hotel El Cid, el secretario general del Ayuntamiento, Jos\u00e9 de Jes\u00fas Espinosa Pay\u00e1n, dese\u00f3 \u00e9xito tanto a las organizadoras como a las competidoras que se inscriban, para que tengan una buena pesca. De la misma manera, reiter\u00f3 el respaldo de la presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz para seguir impulsando a Puerto Morelos como un destino deportivo.
\nEn tanto, Miguel C\u00e1mara Ruiz, secretario municipal de Turismo Sustentable, dijo que \u201cLa Diosa del Mar\u201d ya forma parte de las tradiciones deportivas de Puerto Morelos, por lo que se reforzar\u00e1 su promoci\u00f3n en ferias tur\u00edsticas nacionales e internacionales, para que cada a\u00f1o lleguen m\u00e1s competidoras.<\/p>\n

\u201cDurante ese fin de semana estamos previendo un incremento en la ocupaci\u00f3n hotelera en los peque\u00f1os centros de hospedaje del destino y, por supuesto, en restaurantes. Estos dos sectores se ven beneficiados en los fines de semana largos o cuando organizamos alg\u00fan evento como el torneo de pesca femenil\u201d, expuso.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

En su intervenci\u00f3n, Elena Guti\u00e9rrez, integrante del comit\u00e9 organizador, explic\u00f3 que \u201cLa Diosa del Mar\u201d es un torneo que se realiza bajo la modalidad \u201ccaptura y suelta\u201d, para proteger a las especies. \u201cEl reglamento, igual que todos los a\u00f1os, obliga a la liberaci\u00f3n de los tres picudos del Caribe: pez vela, marl\u00edn blanco y marl\u00edn azul. En el caso del dorado, at\u00fan, barracuda y sierra deben superar las 10 libras para poder ser capturadas\u201d, coment\u00f3.<\/p>\n

El pitazo de salida, el 8 de julio, est\u00e1 programada a las 8 de la ma\u00f1ana y la b\u00e1scula se cerrar\u00e1 a las 4 de la tarde, para pasar a la ceremonia de premiaci\u00f3n en la marina del restaurante Pel\u00edcanos, lugar en el que tambi\u00e9n se realizar\u00e1 la cena de capitanas el d\u00eda 7.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
