(GFWT), que se realizar\u00e1 el pr\u00f3ximo 23 de abril en tres categor\u00edas: Gran Fondo de 160 km, medio fondo de 100 km \u2013ambas partir\u00e1n de Playa del Carmen y abarcar\u00e1n parte de Puerto Morelos\u2013 y rodada familiar de 10 km, se espera la participaci\u00f3n de cerca de 300 competidores y abrir\u00e1 un nuevo mercado tur\u00edstico por su alcance de m\u00e1s de 100 millones de ciclistas que conocer\u00e1n esta competencia, a Puerto Morelos y a la Ruta de los Cenotes, manifest\u00f3 su fundador y promotor Gerardo Alton Ortega.<\/p>\n<p>En conferencia de prensa, agradeci\u00f3 a la presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz por haber aceptado abrir el territorio municipal a este circuito de ciclistas semiprofesionales y amateurs en el mundo, que cuenta con 22 carreras en 20 pa\u00edses \u2013es la primera vez que llega a Latinoam\u00e9rica y M\u00e9xico\u2013 y subray\u00f3 que el impacto econ\u00f3mico ser\u00e1 a futuro.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEstamos seguros de que ser\u00e1 un \u00e9xito para los organizadores, gobierno y ciclistas, gracias a que incluy\u00f3 a la Ruta de los Cenotes, lugar m\u00e1gico, que se abrir\u00e1 a los amantes de este deporte alrededor del mundo, mexicanos, regionales y locales, con seguridad y apoyo de las autoridades de Tr\u00e1nsito de Playa del Carmen y Puerto Morelos y de la Guardia Nacional en la carretera federal, adem\u00e1s de organizaci\u00f3n, que incluir\u00e1n puntos de hidrataci\u00f3n\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>De hecho, dijo que los 120 mil ciclistas que forman parte del GFWT en 84 pa\u00edses se enterar\u00e1n de esta zona y escuchar\u00e1n por vez primera de la Ruta de los Cenotes. \u201cEstoy seguro de que no ser\u00e1 la \u00fanica vez que se realice esta competencia y de que el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o la participaci\u00f3n ser\u00e1 muy peleada\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con Lilia Mayagoitia, coordinadora general del evento, la salida ser\u00e1 a las 7 am de Playa del Carmen, de modo que los contingentes de gran fondo y medio fondo pasar\u00e1n por Puerto Morelos entre 8:15 y las 8:30, pues dado que en Playa del Carmen no permite tanto kilometraje, surgi\u00f3 la opci\u00f3n de extenderse a Puerto Morelos y la Ruta de los Cenotes, llegando a San Martiniano, en L\u00e1zaro C\u00e1rdenas, donde se completan 80 km, a los que se sumar\u00e1 el regreso para dar los 160 km.<\/p>\n<p>Luego de aclarar que los ciclistas de medio fondo llegar\u00e1n a Central Vallarta y desde ah\u00ed retornar\u00e1n, indic\u00f3 que una tercera actividad es la rodada familiar de 10 km que recorrer\u00e1 la Quinta Avenida, de Playa del Carmen.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, Miguel C\u00e1mara Ruiz, secretario municipal de Turismo Sustentable, agradeci\u00f3, en nombre de la alcaldesa Blanca Merari Tziu, el tomar en cuenta a Puerto Morelos para organizar esta competencia de talla mundial, que ayudar\u00e1, entre otras cosas, a promover las bellezas naturales del destino.<\/p>\n<p>En la conferencia de prensa tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3 Carlos Jim\u00e9nez, director de Marketing y Promoci\u00f3n de Solidaridad, as\u00ed como Miguel Ordaz, director t\u00e9cnico de la carrera, quien fue el encargado de dar a conocer los detalles deportivos de la
