La alcaldesa Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz encabez\u00f3 hoy la instalaci\u00f3n del Comit\u00e9 Operativo Municipal de Prevenci\u00f3n, Atenci\u00f3n y Combate de Incendios Forestales, marco en el que convoc\u00f3 a actuar de manera responsable y comprometida frente a las contingencias, con el prop\u00f3sito de proteger el macizo forestal de Puerto Morelos.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La Presidenta Municipal se\u00f1al\u00f3 que ante el inicio de la temporada 2023 de incendios forestales es necesario impulsar acciones claras para su prevenci\u00f3n y combate, a fin de evitar la deforestaci\u00f3n y con ello la merma de los recursos naturales, que son uno de los principales activos de Puerto Morelos.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cEn nuestro municipio, la temporada es particularmente peligrosa por los macizos forestales de gran dimensi\u00f3n e importancia que tenemos, adem\u00e1s hay que recordar que abril y mayo se consideran los meses m\u00e1s cr\u00edticos por la \u00e9poca de estiaje\u201d, refiri\u00f3 en el evento en el que estuvo acompa\u00f1ada por el secretario general del Ayuntamiento, Jos\u00e9 de Jes\u00fas Espinosa Pay\u00e1n, y el coordinador de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, Guillermo Morales L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Asimismo, Blanca Merari Tziu coment\u00f3 que este Comit\u00e9, en el que cada uno de sus integrantes es de suma importancia, permite escuchar a todos los sectores, pero tambi\u00e9n actuar de manera responsable frente a un problema que es de todos conocido y que juntos se puede evitar.<\/p>\n

La Presidenta Municipal recibi\u00f3 el Programa Especial de Incendios Forestales 2023 de Puerto Morelos, firm\u00f3 las actas correspondientes y decret\u00f3 la instalaci\u00f3n del Comit\u00e9 Municipal.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Guillermo Morales refiri\u00f3 que el municipio es uno de los m\u00e1s ricos en recursos forestales en Quintana Roo, cuya selva es un valioso patrimonio natural, por ello, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que anticiparon acciones en esta temporada de incendios forestales, capacitando a la brigada comunitaria y alistando la campa\u00f1a dirigida a la ciudadan\u00eda, para evitar el uso de fuego como herramienta.<\/p>\n

\u201cNuestra Presidenta Municipal tiene un compromiso irrestricto con el cuidado y la preservaci\u00f3n de nuestra riqueza forestal, por ello, Protecci\u00f3n Civil es coadyuvantes en estos esfuerzos y seguiremos muy de cerca cualquier situaci\u00f3n que pudiera ser un riesgo para actuar con oportunidad ante la amenaza de fuego o humo y evitar da\u00f1os a la salud de nuestros habitantes y visitantes\u201d, expuso.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

En su intervenci\u00f3n, Jorge David Canul Balam, coordinador de la Brigada de la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional Forestal (Conafor) en la Zona Norte, inform\u00f3 que, en 2022, Puerto Morelos tuvo una afectaci\u00f3n de 42 hect\u00e1reas con 4 incendios forestales, y se espera una temporada de sequ\u00eda muy acentuada en este 2023, por lo que llam\u00f3 a estar atentos ante cualquier emergencia.<\/p>\n

En tanto, el secretario general del Ayuntamiento, Jos\u00e9 de Jes\u00fas Espinosa Pay\u00e1n, destac\u00f3 que conjuntar los esfuerzos y recursos de las autoridades federales, estatales y municipales es, sin duda, la mejor alternativa para atender y resolver de manera adecuada la presencia de conatos o incendios forestales en la territorialidad municipal.<\/p>\n

\u201cPuerto Morelos es un municipio verde por convicci\u00f3n y vocaci\u00f3n. En la administraci\u00f3n que encabeza nuestra presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu, temas como la sustentabilidad son piedra angular de nuestras estrategias y acciones\u201d, sostuvo.<\/p>\n

Al evento tambi\u00e9n acudieron el Mayor de Infanter\u00eda F\u00e9lix Salinas Gonz\u00e1lez, en representaci\u00f3n de la Secretar\u00eda de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena); el Capit\u00e1n de Fragata Infanter\u00eda de Marina Rodolfo Reyes Galindo, de la Novena Regional Naval; brigadistas, regidores y funcionarios municipales.<\/strong><\/p>\n
