{"id":19008,"date":"2022-12-30T11:42:01","date_gmt":"2022-12-30T17:42:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/puertomorelos.gob.mx\/comunicacionsocial\/?p=19008"},"modified":"2022-12-30T11:42:01","modified_gmt":"2022-12-30T17:42:01","slug":"impulsa-el-gobierno-de-puerto-morelos-la-cultura-del-bienestar-animal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/puertomorelos.gob.mx\/comunicacionsocial\/impulsa-el-gobierno-de-puerto-morelos-la-cultura-del-bienestar-animal\/","title":{"rendered":"IMPULSA EL GOBIERNO DE PUERTO MORELOS LA CULTURA DEL BIENESTAR ANIMAL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 30 de diciembre de 2022.\u2014 Promover la salud p\u00fablica por medio del bienestar animal es trabajo de todos, por eso involucramos a la ciudadan\u00eda y contamos con el apoyo de organizaciones civiles, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Efr\u00e9n Boylan S\u00e1nchez, director de Bienestar Animal de Puerto Morelos.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Luego de destacar que cada d\u00eda se suman m\u00e1s personas a esa tarea social, indic\u00f3 que para el gobierno de la presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz brindar calidad de vida a los habitantes es prioridad.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEn coordinaci\u00f3n con los servicios estatales de salud, m\u00e9dicos veterinarios locales y asociaciones civiles aplicamos 2,305 dosis de vacuna antirr\u00e1bica a perros y gatos durante 2022, con apoyo de cl\u00ednicas veterinarias locales y brigadas de bienestar animal durante las semanas nacionales de vacunaci\u00f3n\u201d, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asimismo, Boylan S\u00e1nchez resalt\u00f3 que el cuidado de la fauna dom\u00e9stica, en particular perros y gatos, es indispensable, por lo que han hecho campa\u00f1as para concienciar a las personas sobre la importancia de esterilizar a sus mascotas para evitar la proliferaci\u00f3n de fauna callejera.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cGracias al acompa\u00f1amiento de la Asociaci\u00f3n Planned Pethood Internacional y m\u00e9dicos veterinarios independientes que se sumaron a estas acciones, esterilizamos quir\u00fargicamente a 1,841 perros y gatos en la cabecera municipal, disminuyendo as\u00ed la sobrepoblaci\u00f3n animal de manera humanitaria\u201d, detall\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por otra parte, coment\u00f3 que aplicaron medicamentos para desparasitar a 3,731 animales de compa\u00f1\u00eda, a fin de prevenir la transmisi\u00f3n de enfermedades a la poblaci\u00f3n de Puerto Morelos, Leona Vicario, Delirios y Central Vallarta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De igual forma, el director de Bienestar Animal dijo que atendieron 40 denuncias ciudadanas por causas diversas, como maltrato animal y abandono.
