Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 29 de diciembre de 2022.\u2014 Los programas de apoyo implementados en la actual administraci\u00f3n permitieron a los agricultores consolidarse, vender sus cosechas de forma directa a proveedores o empresas establecidas y diversificar su producci\u00f3n de acuerdo con lo que sus compradores demandan, afirm\u00f3 Reyna Barrera L\u00f3pez, secretaria municipal de Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico y Mejora Regulatoria.<\/strong><\/p>\n

De la misma forma, asegur\u00f3 que tanto acuicultores como pescadores han logrado posicionar sus productos en el comercio local y se avanz\u00f3 en la consolidaci\u00f3n de la actividad ap\u00edcola mediante la conformaci\u00f3n de una sociedad cooperativa.<\/p>\n

\u201cEntregamos a 200 agricultores 2 toneladas de semilla de ma\u00edz y 2 de frijol y promovimos un programa de huertos de permacultura, de 60 metros cuadrados, para la producci\u00f3n de hortalizas, en beneficio de 87 mujeres\u201d, detall\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Asimismo, la funcionaria se\u00f1al\u00f3 que a ese sector se le apoya con capacitaci\u00f3n y asistencia t\u00e9cnica permanente. De manera complementaria, se promueve un programa de huertos urbanos, rurales y escolares, en comunidades del municipio.<\/p>\n

Reyna Barrera indic\u00f3 que los productos del campo portomorelense con mayor demanda entre hoteleros y restauranteros del municipio son chile habanero, naranja agria, lim\u00f3n persa, albahaca, cebollina y miel, pero tambi\u00e9n se produce jitomate, calabaza, r\u00e1bano, cilantro, mango y aguacate.<\/p>\n

En el caso de las cooperativas pesqueras, dijo que, en tiempos de veda, se benefici\u00f3 con despensas a 54 pescadores. De esa forma, se les ayuda a sobrellevar esas temporadas y se garantiza que la prohibici\u00f3n cumpla sus objetivos. Tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 la cr\u00eda y engorda de tilapia en granjas.<\/p>\n

La Secretaria indic\u00f3 que la producci\u00f3n pecuaria ha cobrado importancia en el municipio, principalmente la cr\u00eda y engorda de cerdos, borregos y ganado bovino.<\/p>\n

Al abundar sobre la actividad ap\u00edcola, coment\u00f3 que tambi\u00e9n se ha trabajado en la certificaci\u00f3n de apiarios para identificar el grado de afectaci\u00f3n de varroasis. Eso permitir\u00e1 que los apicultores tengan la documentaci\u00f3n necesaria para recibir diversos apoyos.<\/p>\n

Ellos han recibido asesor\u00edas y cursos de capacitaci\u00f3n para mejorar su actividad, prosigui\u00f3. Ante esos avances, se considera la construcci\u00f3n de un centro de acopio que permitir\u00eda concentrar la producci\u00f3n ap\u00edcola y tener una comercializaci\u00f3n controlada a un precio justo, a fin de que la actividad crezca.<\/p>\n

Por \u00faltimo, dijo que en 2023 se trabajar\u00e1 en la consolidaci\u00f3n de la producci\u00f3n agropecuaria, pesquera y ap\u00edcola, en espera de que la Federaci\u00f3n y el Estado emitan las reglas de operaci\u00f3n para los diversos programas que se desarrollar\u00e1n en ese ejercicio.<\/strong><\/p>\n
