{"id":18446,"date":"2022-11-03T17:32:34","date_gmt":"2022-11-03T23:32:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/puertomorelos.gob.mx\/comunicacionsocial\/?p=18446"},"modified":"2022-11-03T17:32:34","modified_gmt":"2022-11-03T23:32:34","slug":"reafirma-blanca-merari-su-compromiso-de-garantizar-la-seguridad-de-los-turistas-estadounidenses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/puertomorelos.gob.mx\/comunicacionsocial\/reafirma-blanca-merari-su-compromiso-de-garantizar-la-seguridad-de-los-turistas-estadounidenses\/","title":{"rendered":"REAFIRMA BLANCA MERARI SU COMPROMISO DE GARANTIZAR LA SEGURIDAD DE LOS TURISTAS ESTADOUNIDENSES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>M\u00e9rida, Yucat\u00e1n, 3 de noviembre de 2022.\u2014 En reuni\u00f3n con Dorothy Ngutter, c\u00f3nsul general de Estados Unidos en la Pen\u00ednsula de Yucat\u00e1n, con sede en esta ciudad, la presidenta municipal de Puerto Morelos, Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz, refrend\u00f3 su compromiso de garantizar la seguridad de los turistas estadounidenses, principal mercado del Estado y el municipio, y dijo que seguir\u00e1 trabajando en coordinaci\u00f3n con el cuerpo diplom\u00e1tico del vecino pa\u00eds.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSabemos de la preferencia que los viajeros estadounidenses tienen por el Caribe Mexicano, incluido Puerto Morelos, donde el turismo es la principal actividad econ\u00f3mica, gracias a que cuenta con un amplio abanico de experiencias tur\u00edsticas\u201d, coment\u00f3 la Alcaldesa.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En ese sentido, record\u00f3 que en el Parque Nacional Arrecife de Puerto Morelos se puede apreciar parte del Gran Arrecife Mesoamericano, el segundo m\u00e1s grande del mundo, s\u00f3lo despu\u00e9s del de Australia, adem\u00e1s de que entre Puerto Morelos y Leona Vicario est\u00e1 la Ruta de los Cenotes, que en sus pocos m\u00e1s de 40 kil\u00f3metros cuenta con decenas de esas formaciones, abiertas al turismo nacional y extranjero.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cGracias a esos y otros atractivos, en 2022, por cuarto a\u00f1o consecutivo, Puerto Morelos fue reconocido por los World Travel Awards como mejor destino de aventura de M\u00e9xico. Sin embargo, tambi\u00e9n somos apreciados por nuestra gastronom\u00eda, que es de las mejores del Caribe Mexicano, por las actividades n\u00e1uticas y la gran infraestructura hotelera de primer nivel\u201d, coment\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Blanca Merari Tziu tambi\u00e9n expuso que se cuenta con planes para la evacuaci\u00f3n de la zona costera en caso de un hurac\u00e1n y, de ser necesario, se habilitan refugios tanto en los centros de hospedaje como en el centro poblacional.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el caso de la seguridad p\u00fablica, record\u00f3 que la corporaci\u00f3n municipal recibi\u00f3 en fecha reciente 10 veh\u00edculos nuevos, adem\u00e1s de que se instal\u00f3 una antena de radiocomunicaciones que permite mejorar el tiempo de respuesta a llamados de emergencia al 911.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por su parte, la c\u00f3nsul Dorothy Ngutter se mostr\u00f3 complacida con la informaci\u00f3n recibida y los programas implementados, para garantizar la seguridad de los turistas estadounidenses y afirm\u00f3 que con comunicaci\u00f3n constante y trabajo coordinado, se pueden lograr cosas positivas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>En la reuni\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n estuvieron presentes el secretario municipal de Seguridad P\u00fablica y Tr\u00e1nsito, Alfredo Edgardo Valdez de Le\u00f3n; el coordinador de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, Rodolfo Ruiz Hern\u00e1ndez, y el director general de Turismo, Miguel C\u00e1mara Ruiz, as\u00ed como el secretario T\u00e9cnico del Ayuntamiento, Pedro Guti\u00e9rrez Varela.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
