La presidenta municipal Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz recibi\u00f3 este d\u00eda en sus oficinas del Palacio Municipal al C\u00f3nsul General de Gran Breta\u00f1a en M\u00e9xico y gerente regional de operaciones consulares para Am\u00e9rica Central, Gary Fisher, acompa\u00f1ado de la C\u00f3nsul Honoraria de Reino Unido e Irlanda del Norte en Canc\u00fan, Graciela Pe\u00f1a P\u00e9rez.<\/p>\n<p>Durante la visita de cortes\u00eda y acercamiento, la Alcaldesa agradeci\u00f3 la relaci\u00f3n y v\u00ednculo que se crea para dar a los turistas del Reino Unido que llegan a este destino, la certeza de contar con una conexi\u00f3n permanente con su pa\u00eds, a la cual pueden recurrir ante cualquier situaci\u00f3n de emergencia que pudiesen afrontar durante su estancia en Puerto Morelos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrabajamos para garantizar una estancia segura y tranquila de nuestros visitantes, por eso, es importante establecer un v\u00ednculo estrecho con la representaci\u00f3n oficial de cada pa\u00eds para brindar la atenci\u00f3n debida\u201d, indic\u00f3 Blanca Merari Tziu.<\/p>\n<p>En la reuni\u00f3n se les inform\u00f3 sobre la estrategia de seguridad p\u00fablica establecida en el municipio, la cual cuenta con el respaldo de la Polic\u00eda Quintana Roo y, por su puesto, con el apoyo de la Guardia Nacional y la Armada de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, los titulares de Seguridad P\u00fablica y Tr\u00e1nsito, Teniente de Nav\u00edo Alfredo Valdez de Le\u00f3n, y de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, Rodolfo Ruiz Hern\u00e1ndez, explicaron los protocolos en caso de fen\u00f3menos hidrometeorol\u00f3gicos y\/o cualquier situaci\u00f3n de emergencia que pueda surgir en la zona.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, el director general de Turismo, Miguel C\u00e1mara Ruiz, expuso la atenci\u00f3n que se brinda a los visitantes brit\u00e1nicos, uno de los mercados tur\u00edsticos m\u00e1s importantes para este destino, para hacer placentera su estancia y motivarlos a volver.<\/p>\n<p>En la reuni\u00f3n de trabajo tambi\u00e9n estuvo presente el secretario general del Ayuntamiento, Jos\u00e9 de Jes\u00fas Espinosa
